I’m a Hindu girl and the person whom I want to marry is a Christian(Baptist). we are in relationship from 6 years and he made everything clear about his religion, conversion and all as their family is strict in these rules. I really don’t have problem not only because I love him but also I beleive in one God then no problem for me to accept their religion. He made his parents accept for this marriage and convince them whatever way he can. Here comes problem from my famliy as they are not accepting for the marriage and if accepts also wanted Hindu tradition marriage too which his family never accepts. I do understand their religion as well as mine but what should I do when they don’t sccept hindhu marriage as it’s sin for them and my family asking atleast to do Hindu tradition? If he does Hindu marriage it’s like converting to Hindu itseems so he is not accepting. My parents are saying in this way..what to do? -Rani

Worshipping other dead people or rocks is sin, So hindu marriage is also definitely sin ’cause you’ll do puja’s, homam, etc., and even you’ll fall on parents and at other’s feet so it’s definitely a sin.
What last person said is right… Believing one God, i.e., being monotheistic means you should believe only God but not the jesus. He ain’t God and not even anyone other than God. God has made this space and matter. When you believe only one God then it’s even sin falling on others feet. So without falling on your parents beg them explain what God is. He told not to worship anyone other than me. Tell them 10 commands said by God and still if they don’t listen then get out of home.

Why are you like hindu girls are insulting Hinduism and destroying my country. Do you know coastal states in India are becaming anti-national christian thugs due to their increasing population. TUTICORIN is a place in TN and all are converted to christian and now they are christian terorist. Why cant you remain Hinduism?.
Have you retrospect about muslim and christian girls? Did they converted to Hinduism to marry a hindu man? why are you so cheap and against your parents? Is this way you educated by your parents? atleast do something for our nation not for your self cheap mentality.

Christians and Muslims believe in God, christian may also believe in other God than the God ie., jesus but there exists only one God. Buddism says there’s no God. and rest is Hinduism which exists only in India. hinduism means worshipping rocks, idols, dead people. Did those dead people said that they’re God’s? Do you think the graphics in hindu God’s films real? common wake up man.
Krish bhai sahab, many Christian, Muslim, Jain etc girls do convert to Hinduism nowadays and even if they formally don’t, their in laws expect the same customs from them (such as Karwa chauth fasting etc). Your media only reports the “love jihad” cases so you never get to hear the other side of the stories we see on this forum.. . I understand your frustration with many hindu girls leaving their culture etc but people are nowadays not defined by one identity. Some people don’t even choose to say they are Hindu or Muslim, like Salman Khan did when he was being questioned about the rare animal hunting case. When a court asked him what his religion/caste was, he said he was Indian. He said I am hindu and Muslim. So please stop this bakwaas and let people choose what they want to do with their lives. Following the likes of Shiv Sena or my favorite, Yogi Adityanath is going to bring nothing but destruction for you and your beloved India. Live and let live… Jai Hind!
