image001Dear Sir/Madam,

Dear all,

I am a researcher at a TV Company in Glasgow, Caledonia TV. We are researching some programme ideas to mark the 70th anniversary of the Partition of India looking at its impact on modern Britain.

For one programme we are looking for British couples aiming to go through an interfaith marriage, either Muslim-Hindu or Muslim-Sikh. We understand that in many cases there will be a sensitivity about going public. We are aiming to follow those who are determined to overcome any difficulties and travel with them on their journey to a happy marriage. We aim to introduce them to people who have successful interfaith marriages and perhaps take them on a journey to India to help explain to a younger generation the issues that lie behind the difficulties that they are facing. We are optimistic that the stories we follow will have a happy successful ending and can be shared on national TV.

We are happy to talk directly to anyone who wants to hear more of our ideas and the possible process. Confidentiality, if necessary, will always be a prime concern.

I can be reached at dcampbell@caledonia.tv or on the telephone number below.

Kind regards,

Donald Campbell
Researcher

    Dear all,

I wanted to add that we are only looking for people to talk to – to discuss their story. We just want to understand the relationship and what each couple is going through – couples in the UK and who are in an interfaith relationship, ideally Muslim-Hindu or Muslim-Sikh.

Please feel free to call (0141 564 9100), email me (dcampbell@caledonia.tv) or leave a response on the post if you wish to talk with us. At this stage, we are only looking to have a direct conversation in order to get a better understanding of your relationship.

    Thank you

there are constant bases ..ruling this kind of marriage
these bases will be the reference for all interfaithmarriage examples
-if both couple are atheists (cut relation with original religion )
then both are of same nonreligion personality ..
so no problem …the marriage may sucseed.but atheism is not the solution
-if both couple belong to their religions ..in name only.. but not atheists
means know nothing about their religions (what is right and what is wrong)..the marriage result will be same as the first couple
    – if one partner is religious ..the other is not…then sure the religous partner will affect the nonreligous partner
-if both respect their own religion ..but marrey cz of severe love story that this love is more effective than religion effect
here the problem will come out
cz love effect reduces by time and children religion problem starts with the both sides parents effect
honestly i said that for muslim side 100% it is a matter of islam ignorance …this ignorance increased in indian society by secularism
regime and the western life style which neglects the religion role
