When Francisco Mitra became the president of France in 1981, France requested from the Egyptian government to host the mummy of Pharaoh. For the purpose of running laboratory and archeological examinations on the mummy of the most notorious dictator ever lived on earth. Upon arrival, very royal attendants were there including the French president himself and all ministers who bowed in honor for the Firaun Mummy.

The dead body of Ramses II, the Egyptian King in the era of Prophet Moses (peace be upon him). Its age is approximately 3000 years old and it was found by the Red Sea, at the place called Jabalain, and is now on display in the Royal Mummies Chamber of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.

Professor Maurice Bucaille couldn’t believe his own ears and started to wonder: How can a book existed 1400 years ago speak about the mummy that was only found 111 years ago, in 1898? How can that be possible while the ancient Egyptian heritage was discovered only a few decades ago and no one knew about it before?
Professor Maurice Bucaille sat down pondering on what he was told about the book of Muslims, Holy Quran while his Holy Book (The Bible) narrates only the drowning of Pharaoh without saying anything about his body.
“Is it possible that this mummy in front of me is the one who was chasing Prophet Moses?” “Is it possible that Prophet Muhammad knew this 1400 years ago?”
Professor Maurice Bucaille couldn’t sleep that night till they brought him the Old Testament where he read: “And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them. (Exodus 14:28) But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy endureth for ever. (Psalm 136:15) For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the Children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea. (Exodus 15:19)”
Professor Maurice Bucaille was surprised that the Holy Book (The Bible) didn’t mention about the destiny of the body and that it will be saved.
When the scientists were done with the mummy, France retuned it to Egypt, but Professor Maurice Bucaille couldn’t rest for a moment since he was told that Muslims know about the safety of the body from Holy Quran. So, he decided to travel and meet anatomy Muslim scientists and there he spoke about his discovery of the safety of the mummy after its death in the sea and so on.
One of the Muslim scientists stood up and simply opened Holy Quran and pointed to the Professor at one verse: “We brought the Children of Israel across the sea and Pharaoh and his troops pursued them out of tyranny and enmity. Then, when he was on the point of drowning, he (Pharaoh) said, I believe that there is no god but Him in whom the Children of Israel believe. I am of those who submit (to Allaah in Islam). What! Now! And indeed you disobeyed before and you were of the mischief-makers. This day shall We save you in your body, that you may be a Sign to those who come after you! But verily, many among mankind are neglectful of Our Signs.” (Holy Quran 10:90-92)
Professor Maurice Bucaille was struck when he read that and immediately stood in front of the crowd and said loudly: “I believe in ISLAM, I believe in Holy Quran.” Allaahu Akbar!!
Then he went back to France with a different face he traveled with. In France, he dedicated 10 years investigating the scientific discoveries and comparing them with Holy Quran and trying to come up with one scientific contradiction with Holy Quran. Finally he quoted one verse from Holy Quran to be his conclusion:
“No falsehood can approach it (this book) from before or behind it: it is sent down by One Full of Wisdom, Worthy of all praise.” (Holy Quran 41:42)

Persaud is Professor of Anatomy, Professor of Pediatrics and Child Health, and Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. And this corresponds to the number of iron in the periodic table. The Qur’an, which contains the revelation of our Omniscient Lord, refers both to the formation of iron and to its atomic number. The Koran is a book of hate. Islam is an ideology of hate. There are thousands of verses and sayings urging Muslims to kill the infidels and take control of the Infidel lands. Because since there is a 29-day between full moons, it used to be thought it took the Moon 29 days to travel around the Earth. For Allah to be God, the supreme creator of the universe, Allah must attain the highest moral perfection. Allah should be all for pure love, mercy, peace and goodness to all his creatures. God must hold all his/her creatures to equal esteem. He cannot be an immoral, irrational, violent, evil being. If any teachings of the Quran fail to stand this ethical standard, its author, Allah, cannot be the God.
Belief in a religion does not make you a superior human being or give you any special privileges over other humans. A British-born doctor on leave from the NHS was part of an armed gang of Islamic extremists who took a British photographer hostage in Syria.
The doctor, who carried an AK-47 assault rifle, said he was taking a break from his medical training in London to wage holy war. He has not been identified but has a south London accent and appears to be of Pakistani descent.
He was one of a dozen British militants who held two journalists captive last month at a camp two miles inside the Syrian border. He treated their injuries after they were shot trying to escape but seemed disappointed when two other hostages, who were Syrian, were not beheaded.
“They should have been beheaded,” the doctor told John Cantlie, the British freelance photographer, and his Dutch colleague, Jeroen Oerlemans. “They were definitely spies.”
The photographers escaped on their second day in captivity but were shot at and recaptured. Oerlemans was hit in the leg and Cantlie in the arm.
The doctor used a drip, antibiotics and stitches to stabilise Oerlemans, telling the injured journalists that his experiences would help his future career in accident and emergency. An assistant, also from London, bandaged Cantlie.
The bearded medic did not name the hospital where he was training. He disguised his face with a scarf and Oakley sunglasses and wore a baseball cap. It specifically says they must not have mercy on people who have committed adultery or fornication, and that this brutal punishment of 100 lashes is “prescribed by God.” However, since other verses in the Quran specifically allow men to have sex slaves, the horrible crime of serial rape against a non-Muslim woman is not considered adultery or fornication and would not be punished if the woman is considered a concubine.

1.The Hindu woman has no right to divorce her husband.
2.She has no property or inheritance rights.
3.Choice of partner is limited because she can only marry within her own caste; moreover her horoscope must match that of the intending bridegroom/family.

Well I’m from London UK my family are mostly white English and many of my fathers side hold some nasty racist views of the world.

Muslims instead of wasting time in glorifying Muhammad and singing poems describing how remarkable he was should understand quran and critically examine it. They have been gullible for last 1400 years, it is about time they use common sense and take a hard look at Quran and Muhammad if they want to be part of humanity. The glorified version of Islam and Muhammad that muslims learn while growing up and which is in-grained on their minds is not true. Muslims should know the facts about Islam, Quran, Muhammad and Islamic history.
I am an ex-muslim and one time staunch defender of Muhammad and Islam. It is my sincere hope to save as many muslims as I can from the curse of Islam. It is an evil barbaric ideology which has no place in 21st century civilised world.
Islam is an asylum of criminals and it propagates crime and violence. From the schooldays onwards, Muslim boys are instructed that they should not defy tradition laid down by Allah through Koran and Hadith and they should respect the authority of Allah. Truth should be sought in the text of Koran and Hadith and not in experience. The role of thought among the Muslims is to explain and transmit what has been ordained by Allah in Koran and Hadith and not to search or question those religious dogmas. As the texts of the Koran and Hadiths are full of hatred, violence, bloodshed and crime, the Muslims, from their tender age, are indoctrinated in violence and crime.
In the case of the Muslims of India, it has been mentioned in the previous article that the representation of the Muslims in the fields of higher education, in government and non-government jobs, in the police and armed forces and in legal profession, is negligible. But among the convicts in jails, Muslim representation is exceptionally high. For example, in the state of Kerala, Muslims are 24.7 per cent of the total population, but in jails, 38.3 per cent of the convicts are Muslims. In Delhi, Muslims constitute only 11.7 per cent of the population, but 29.1 per cent of the convicts in jails are Muslims. The trend is highest in the state of Maharastra. Here Muslims make 10.6 per cent of population, while 40.6 per cent of the prison inmates are Muslims.
Not only in India, the picture is similar in other parts of the world as well. For example, in the UK the Muslim population is around 2.5 million or 2.7 per cent of the total population. But according to a statement issued by the Equality and Human Rights Commission in England, 87 per cent among Terrorism Related Prisoners in Great Britain, in 2010, identified themselves as Muslim. In fact, “Britain faces a serious threat from domestic and international terrorism. Since 2001, 237 people have been convicted for terrorism-related offences, a further 48 individuals have been placed under control orders and 228 individuals have been referred to intervention programmes for those who are deemed to be at risk of violent radicalisation. Government figures indicate that at least 2,000 individuals are of concern to security services.” [2]
In this context, the reader may recall mass killings of the Hazara Muslims by the Talibans in Bamyan, Afghanistan. The Taliban, for first time, entered Bamyan city on 13 September 1998 after a brief battle on the Aghrubut pass. On 15-17 September, Taliban launched search in Bamyan villages to find out suspect people. During the search, they arrested and killed any male members of Hazara, aged above thirteen. Arrested people were taken to the desert and then assassinated. Sar Asyabb, Haider Abad and Syed Abad villages were among the villages, which suffered most. Some people were slaughtered like herd and some bodies were cut to pieces and the dead bodies were scattered everywhere. Houses of the Hazaras were set ablaze and destroyed.
From the above narrations it becomes evident that Muslims, as a religious group, are more prone to committing crime and violence. Though shocking, but it is not surprising. The creed that says stealing, plundering, killing, raping and so on, in the name of jihad, is the best form of worshiping their god Allah and whose final destination is a five-star super luxury brothel, called jannah (paradise), what better can be expected out of them?
Raping kafir women:
Another aspect of Islamic jihad is raping the kafir women. In the eye of merciful Allah, kafir women are simply spoils of war and hence He allows and inspires the Muslims to rape those women. So, the Koran says-
“Marry of the women, who seem good to you, two, three or four of them. But if you fear that you cannot do justice (to so many) then one (only) or (the captives) that your right hands, possess” (4.3)
“You are -brbidden to take in marriage married women, except those (captives) whom your right hands possess” (4.24)
“Enjoy, therefore, all things that you have gained in war (including women), as lawful and good.” (8.69)
“The believers truly believe in the Day of Judgement and dread the punishment of their Lord, and restrain their carnal disire, save with their wives and these (captives) whom they possess by their right hands, for these are lawful unto them,” (70. 26-30) and so on.
Apart from all these commands of Allah, His apostle Muhammad taught this important part of jihad by raping the captive women after raids and Juweeiriya, Rihana and Safiya are a few of the example. In Bangladesh, raping or gang raping of Hindu or other minority girls is a regular affair.

Some Muslims are fond of condemning western morality – alcoholism, nudity, premarital sex and homosexuality often being cited as examples. But Muslims do not have a monopoly on morality. In the west, child marriages and sex with children are illegal. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for many Muslim countries.
I recently saw the documentary on the Dancing Boys of Afghanistan. It exposed an ancient custom called “bacha bazi” (boy for play), where rich men buy boys as young as 11 from impoverished families for sexual slavery. The boys are dressed in women’s clothes and made to dance and sing at parties, before being carted away by the men for sex. Owning boys is considered a symbol of status and one former warlord boasted of having up to 3,000 boys over a 20-year period, even though he was married, with two sons. The involvement of the police and inaction of the government means this form of child prostitution is widespread.
The moral hypocrisy is outrageous in a country where homosexuality is not only strictly forbidden but savagely punished, even between two consenting adults. However, men who sodomise young boys are not considered homosexuals or paedophiles. The love of young boys is not a phenomenon restricted to Afghanistan; homosexual pederasty is common in neighbouring Pakistan, too. In my view, repression of sexuality and extreme gender apartheid is to blame.
And in the Middle East, it’s young girls who are considered desirable and men are able to satisfy their lusts legally through child marriages. In Yemen, more than a quarter of girls are married before the age of 15. Cases of girls dying during childbirth are not unusual, and recently, one 12-year-old child bride even died from internal bleeding following sexual intercourse. In another case, a 12-year-old girl was married to an 80-year-old man in Saudi Arabia.
So why is the practice of child marriage sanctioned in Muslim countries? Unfortunately, ultra-conservative religious authorities justify this old tribal custom by citing the prophet Muhammad’s marriage to Aisha. They allege Aisha was nine years old when the prophet married her. But they focus conveniently on selected Islamic texts to support their opinions, while ignoring vast number of other texts and historical information, which suggests Aisha was much older, putting her age of marriage at 19. Child marriage is against Islam as the Qur’an is clear that intellectual maturity is the basis for deciding age of marriage, and not puberty, as suggested by these clerics.
Whatever one’s view on the prophet’s marriage, no faith can claim moral superiority since child marriages have been practised in various cultures and societies across the world at one time or another. In modern times, though, marrying children is no longer acceptable and no excuse should be used to justify this.
I find the false adherence to Islamic principles and the “holier than thou” attitude of some Muslim societies similar to the blatant hypocrisy and double standards of 19th-century Victorian Britain, where the outward appearance of dignity and prudishness camouflaged an extreme prevalence of sexual and moral depravity behind closed doors. In those days, too, there were many men willing to pay to have sex with children – until a plethora of social movements arose that resulted in changes in laws and attitudes in society.
A similar shift in social attitudes is also required in traditional Muslim societies. Having boy sex slaves or child brides should not be seen as badges of honour. Instead, Muslims need to do more to attach shame to such practices; otherwise, acceptance of this behaviour will make them complicit in the sexual exploitation of children. I fail to understand why Muslims are so vocal on abuses by the west in Abu Ghraib, Guantánamo, Iraq and Afghanistan, but display moral blindness when it comes to children? It’s about time this silence was broken, so these violations of innocence can be stopped.
A too-passive attitude in dealing with child abuse has rubbed off on Muslim communities in Britain, too. I have heard many stories at first hand of child sexual abuse and rape, which show that the issue is not being addressed at all. Those who have had the courage to speak out have been met with reactions of denial and shame. Such attitudes mean that children will continue to suffer in silence. Sexual abuse of children happens in all communities, as has been revealed by the recent Catholic church scandal. At least, they have finally started to take action. Muslim communities should learn from this and also start being more open, instead of continuing to sweeping the issue under the carpet.

The hadiths even tell us how Allah and his angels feel about a woman that refuses to allow her husband to enter her when and how he wants:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah’s Apostle said, “If a husband calls his wife to his bed (i.e. to have sexual relation) and she refuses and causes him to sleep in anger, the angels will curse her till morning.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 460)
Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: By Him in Whose Hand is my life, when a man calls his wife to his bed, and she does not respond, the One Who is in the heaven is displeased with her until he (her husband) is pleased with her. (Sahih Muslim, Book 008, Number 3367)
Muslims argue that the above narrations prove that men can force their wives to have sex , in any manner, since it speaks of men sleeping in anger to satisfy his sexual drive. If he could force his wife to have sex then there would be no need for him to sleep angry.

What we see in the beginning of this verse as “forbidden” refers to sexual intercourse. The Qur’an dictates, women already married are forbidden for Muslims except those whom their right hands possess (sex slaves).
Context
It is important to know the context of this verse, as it sheds light onto the nature of allowance. If we go through a Sahih Hadith in Sunan Abu Dawud:
Abu Said al-Khudri said: “The apostle of Allah sent a military expedition to Awtas on the occasion of the battle of Hunain. They met their enemy and fought with them. They defeated them and took them captives. Some of the Companions of the apostle of Allah were reluctant to have intercourse with the female captives in the presence of their husbands who were unbelievers. So Allah, the Exalted, sent down the Quranic verse, “And all married women (are forbidden) unto you save those (captives) whom your right hands possess”. That is to say, they are lawful for them when they complete their waiting period.” [The

Here in the above hadith, we are told why verse 4:24 was revealed to Muhammad. It was to encourage his fighters, who were reluctant, to have sexual contacts with female captives even while their husbands were alive as prisoners of war. This is made clear when we read:
“Some of the Companions of the apostle of Allah were reluctant to have intercourse with the female captives in the presence of their husbands who were unbelievers.”
The Abu Dawud hadith is confirmed by the two Sahih collections, namely Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.
In Sahih Bukhari we read:
Narrated Ibn Muhairiz: I entered the Mosque and saw Abu Said Al-Khudri and sat beside him and asked him about Al-Azl (i.e. coitus interruptus). Abu Said said, “We went out with Allah’s Apostle for the Ghazwa of Banu Al-Mustaliq and we received captives from among the Arab captives and we desired women and celibacy became hard on us and we loved to do coitus interruptus. So when we intended to do coitus interrupt us, we said, ‘How can we do coitus interruptus before asking Allah’s Apostle who is present among us?” We asked (him) about it and he said, ‘It is better for you not to do so, for if any soul (till the Day of Resurrection) is predestined to exist, it will exist.”

Similarly in Sahih Muslim:
Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported that at the Battle of Hunain Allah’s Messenger sent an army to Autas and encountered the enemy and fought with them. Having overcome them and taken them captives, the Companions of Allah’s Messenger seemed to refrain from having intercourse with captive women because of their husbands being polytheists. Then Allah, Most High, sent down regarding that:” And women already married, except those whom your right hands possess (Quran 4:. 24)” (i. e. they were lawful for them when their ‘Idda period came to an end).

There is an entire chapter devoted to this in the Sahih Muslim collection. The title of the chapter speaks in volumes as we read:
Sahih Muslim. Chapter 29: Title: It is permissible to have sexual intercourse with a captive woman after she is purified of menses or delivery. In case she has a husband, her marriage is abrogated after she becomes captive.
Ibn Kathir, the most prominent of all Qur’an interpreters, had this to say in regards to verse 4:24:
The Ayah (verses) means Also (forbidden are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess.), you are prohibited from marrying women who are already married, except those whom your right hands possess) except those whom you acquire through war, for you are allowed such women after making sure they are not pregnant. Imam Ahmad recorded that Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri said, “We captured some women from the area of Awtas who were already married, and we disliked having sexual relations with them because they already had husbands. So, we asked the Prophet about this matter, and this Ayah (verse) was revealed, Also (forbidden are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess). Accordingly, we had sexual relations with these women.” (Alternate translation can be: as a result of these verses, their (Infidels) wives have become lawful for us) This is the wording collected by At-Tirmidhi An-Nasa’i, Ibn Jarir and Muslim in his Sahih.

And, forbidden to you are, wedded women, those with spouses, that you should marry them before they have left their spouses, be they Muslim free women or not; save what your right hands own, of captured [slave] girls, whom you may have sexual intercourse with, even if they should have spouses among the enemy camp, but only after they have been absolved of the possibility of pregnancy [after the completion of one menstrual cycle]; this is what God has prescribed for you.

There are other verses in the Qur’an similar to verse 4:24. For example, Surah al-Mumenoon makes mention of successful Muslims and their characteristics:
Successful indeed are the believers, who are humble in their prayers and who keep aloof from what is vain and who are givers of poor-rate and who guard their private parts, except before their mates or those whom their right hands possess, for they surely are not blamable.

Guarding private parts is denotative of abstaining from sexual activities. The Qur’an points out successful believers are those who are indulging in sexual activities only with their wives and sex-slaves.

And those who guard their private parts, except in the case of their wives or those whom their right hands possess– for these surely are not to be blamed,

Muhammad
This practice of raping war captives was practiced by Islam’s very own prophet Muhammad, in his life. On two occasions, he married (for the sake of sexual gratification only) war captives and raped them. Those victims were namely Safiyah and Juwairiyah.
Safiyah
Safiyah the daughter of Huayy was the wife of a Jewish Rabbi named Kinana. When Muhammad conquered the Jewish village of Khaibar, he tortured and killed the Rabbi and took captive his wife. Sahih Hadith in Bukhari testify to this fact:
Narrated ‘Abdul ‘Aziz: Anas said, ‘When Allah’s Apostle invaded Khaibar, we offered the Fajr prayer there yearly in the morning) when it was still dark. The Prophet rode and Abu Talha rode too and I was riding behind Abu Talha. The Prophet passed through the lane of Khaibar quickly and my knee was touching the thigh of the Prophet . He uncovered his thigh and I saw the whiteness of the thigh of the Prophet. When he entered the town, he said, ‘Allahu Akbar! Khaibar is ruined. Whenever we approach near a (hostile) nation (to fight) then evil will be the morning of those who have been warned.’ He repeated this thrice. The people came out for their jobs and some of them said, ‘Muhammad (has come).’ (Some of our companions added, “With his army.”) We conquered Khaibar, took the captives, and the booty was collected. Dihya came and said, ‘O Allah’s Prophet! Give me a slave girl from the captives.’ The Prophet said, ‘Go and take any slave girl.’ He took Safiya bint Huyai. A man came to the Prophet and said, ‘O Allah’s Apostles! You gave Safiya bint Huyai to Dihya and she is the chief mistress of the tribes of Quraiza and An-Nadir and she befits none but you.’ So the Prophet said, ‘Bring him along with her.’ So Dihya came with her and when the Prophet saw her, he said to Dihya, ‘Take any slave girl other than her from the captives.’ Anas added: The Prophet then manumitted her and married her.” Thabit asked Anas, “O Abu Hamza! What did the Prophet pay her (as Mahr)?” He said, “Her self was her Mahr for he manumitted her and then married her.” Anas added, “While on the way, Um Sulaim dressed her for marriage (ceremony) and at night she sent her as a bride to the Prophet . So the Prophet was a bridegroom and he said, ‘Whoever has anything (food) should bring it.’ He spread out a leather sheet (for the food) and some brought dates and others cooking butter. (I think he (Anas) mentioned As-SawTq). So they prepared a dish of Hais (a kind of meal). And that was Walima (the marriage banquet) of Allah’s Apostle .”

Juwairiyah
The following hadith from Sunan Abu Dawud bears out how Muhammad obtained Juwairiyah, a beautiful woman of a tribe called Banu Mustaliq. Muhammad was attacking the tribe without warning and conquering them:
Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu’minin: Juwayriyyah, daughter of al-Harith ibn al-Mustaliq, fell to the lot of Thabit ibn Qays ibn Shammas, or to her cousin. She entered into an agreement to purchase her freedom. She was a very beautiful woman, most attractive to the eye. Aisha said: She then came to the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) asking him for the purchase of her freedom. When she was standing at the door, I looked at her with disapproval. I realised that the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) would look at her in the same way that I had looked. She said: Apostle of Allah, I am Juwayriyyah, daughter of al-Harith, and something has happened to me, which is not hidden from you. I have fallen to the lot of Thabit ibn Qays ibn Shammas, and I have entered into an agreement to purchase of my freedom. I have come to you to seek assistance for the purchase of my freedom. The Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Are you inclined to that which is better? She asked: What is that, Apostle of Allah? He replied: I shall pay the price of your freedom on your behalf, and I shall marry you. She said: I shall do this. She (Aisha) said: The people then heard that the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) had married Juwayriyyah. They released the captives in their possession and set them free, and said: They are the relatives of the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) by marriage. We did not see any woman greater than Juwayriyyah who brought blessings to her people. One hundred families of Banu al-Mustaliq were set free on account of her.

Narrated Ibn Aun: I wrote a letter to Nafi and Nafi wrote in reply to my letter that the Prophet had suddenly attacked Bani Mustaliq without warning while they were heedless and their cattle were being watered at the places of water. Their fighting men were killed and their women and children were taken as captives; the Prophet got Juwairiya on that day. Nafi said that Ibn ‘Umar had told him the above narration and that Ibn ‘Umar was in that army.

Claims about verse 24:33
Muslims will frequently quote the following when confronted with the passages provided in this article and others like it:
Let those who find not the wherewithal for marriage keep themselves chaste, until Allah gives them means out of His grace. And if any of your slaves ask for a deed in writing (to enable them to earn their freedom for a certain sum), give them such a deed if ye know any good in them: yea, give them something yourselves out of the means which Allah has given to you. But force not your maids to prostitution when they desire chastity, in order that ye may make a gain in the goods of this life. But if anyone compels them, yet, after such compulsion, is Allah, Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (to them),

The first part of the verse is telling unmarried people to keep themselves chaste. Now, the important thing to remember is that the Islamic definition of chaste is different than the commonly agreed upon definitions of the word. According to Qur’an 23:6, Qur’an 33:50, Qur’an 33:52, and Qur’an 70:30 a Muslim man is considered “chaste” so long as he only has sex with his wives (of whom he may have up to four) and his right-hand possessions (female captives/slaves). An unmarried Muslim man who has sex with his slave girl is still considered to be “chaste” by Islamic standards.
The second sentence speaks about slaves who ask for a way to pay for their freedom (like indentured servants) as long as the master knows of “any good in them”. It would be interesting to discover how female slaves could earn any money at all if they had been kidnapped from their families and forced into slavery and did not have money-making skills. And if a female slave was to earn her freedom, where then could she go if her family had been massacred? How could she support herself and keep herself safe from rape, prostitution, etc.? Practicalities aside, this verse only tells Muslims to let their slaves purchase their freedom (but puts in a convenient disclaimer of “if ye know any good in them”). To give Muhammad credit, he did stipulate that the masters should give their slaves something (again conveniently leaving out what and how much).
The third sentence is what pertains to the Muslim claim that rape is forbidden. However, the word used is not simply sexual intercourse but is more specifically “prostitution” or “whoredom”. Prostitution is not simply about sex, but sex for a price. This is why it is often referred to as one of the oldest professions. What this verse speaks of is a master forcing his maid to be a prostitute thereby making money by allowing other men to have sex with her. This verse says nothing about a master forcing himself upon his slave-girl who is considered “halal” for him according to Islamic law. The fourth sentence says that if a girl is indeed forced into prostitution, then Allah will forgive her for committing zina. What this verse does not say is what the punishment should be for a man who forces his maid into prostitution. All it says is that he should not do it. And what it definitely does not say is that a Muslim man cannot force himself on his own slave-girl.
Conclusion
From 4:24, it can be rightly assumed, that the Qur’an does not see any wrong-doing in Muslims having sex with captive women even if these women are married and their husbands are still alive. This clearly indicates that the Qur’an allows rape, as captive women, even in the unlikely case of agreeing to sexual intercourse, would still be having that intercourse under duress.

I am describing another aspect of Koranic teaching i.e. violence, killing, murder of non believers, who were also created by the almighty.
Quran (2:191-193) – “And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief] is worse than killing…
but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun (the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)” The historical context of this passage is not defensive warfare, since Muhammad and his Muslims had just relocated to Medina and were not under attack by their Meccan adversaries. In fact, the verses urge offensive warfare, in that Muslims are to drive Meccans out of their own city (which they later did). The use of the word “persecution” by some Muslim translators is thus disingenuous (the actual Muslim words for persecution – “idtihad” – and oppression – a variation of “z-l-m” – do not appear in the verse). The actual Arabic comes from “fitna” which can mean disbelief, or the disorder that results from unbelief or temptation. Taken as a whole, the context makes clear that violence is being authorized until “religion is for Allah” – ie. unbelievers desist in their unbelief.
Quran (2:244) – “Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth and knoweth all things.”
Quran (2:216) – “Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not.” Not only does this verse establish that violence can be virtuous, but it also contradicts the myth that fighting is intended only in self-defense, since the audience was obviously not under attack at the time. From the Hadith, we know that this verse was narrated at a time that Muhammad was actually trying to motivate his people into raiding merchant caravans for loot.
Quran (3:56) – “As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help.”
Quran (3:151) – “Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority”. This speaks directly of polytheists, yet it also includes Christians, since they believe in the Trinity (ie. what Muhammad incorrectly believed to be ‘joining companions to Allah’).
Quran (4:74) – “Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward.” The martyrs of Islam are unlike the early Christians, who were led meekly to the slaughter. These Muslims are killed in battle as they attempt to inflict death and destruction for the cause of Allah. This is the theological basis for today’s suicide bombers.
Quran (4:76) – “Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah…”
Quran (4:89) – “They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks.”
Quran (4:95) – “Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward,-” This passage criticizes “peaceful” Muslims who do not join in the violence, letting them know that they are less worthy in Allah’s eyes. It also demolishes the modern myth that “Jihad” doesn’t mean holy war in the Quran, but rather a spiritual struggle. Not only is the Arabic word used in this passage, but it is clearly not referring to anything spiritual, since the physically disabled are given exemption. (The Hadith reveals the context of the passage to be in response to a blind man’s protest that he is unable to engage in Jihad and this is reflected in other translations of the verse).
Quran (4:104) – “And be not weak hearted in pursuit of the enemy; if you suffer pain, then surely they (too) suffer pain as you suffer pain…” Is pursuing an injured and retreating enemy really an act of self-defense?
Quran (5:33) – “The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement”
Quran (8:12) – “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them” No reasonable person would interpret this to mean a spiritual struggle.
Quran (8:15) – “O ye who believe! When ye meet those who disbelieve in battle, turn not your backs to them. (16)Whoso on that day turneth his back to them, unless maneuvering for battle or intent to join a company, he truly hath incurred wrath from Allah, and his habitation will be hell, a hapless journey’s end.”
Quran (8:39) – “And fight with them until there is no more fitna (disorder, unbelief) and religion should be only for Allah” Some translations interpret “fitna” as “persecution”, but the traditional understanding of this word is not supported by the historical context (See notes for 2:193). The Meccans were simply refusing Muhammad access to their city during Haj. Other Muslims were allowed to travel there – just not as an armed group, since Muhammad had declared war on Mecca prior to his eviction. The Meccans were also acting in defense of their religion, since it was Muhammad’s intention to destroy their idols and establish Islam by force (which he later did). Hence the critical part of this verse is to fight until “religion is only for Allah”, meaning that the true justification of violence was the unbelief of the opposition. According to the Sira (Ibn Ishaq/Hisham 324) Muhammad further explains that “Allah must have no rivals.”
Quran (8:57) – “If thou comest on them in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them, that haply they may remember.”
Quran (8:59-60) – “And let not those who disbelieve suppose that they can outstrip (Allah’s Purpose). Lo! they cannot escape. Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy.”
Quran (8:65) – “O Prophet, exhort the believers to fight…”
Quran (9:5) – “So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captive and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them.” According to this verse, the best way of staying safe from Muslim violence is to convert to Islam (prayer (salat) and the poor tax (zakat) are among the religion’s Five Pillars). This popular claim that the Quran only inspires violence within the context of self-defense is seriously challenged by this passage as well, since the Muslims to whom it was written were obviously not under attack. Had they been, then there would have been no waiting period (earlier verses make it a duty for Muslims to fight in self-defense, even during the sacred months). The historical context is Mecca after the idolaters were subjugated by Muhammad and posed no threat. Once the Muslims had the power, they violently evicted those unbelievers who would not convert.
Quran (9:14) – “Fight them, Allah will punish them by your hands and bring them to disgrace…”
Quran (9:20) – “Those who believe, and have left their homes and striven with their wealth and their lives in Allah’s way are of much greater worth in Allah’s sight. These are they who are triumphant.” The Arabic word interpreted as “striving” in this verse is the same root as “Jihad”. The context is obviously holy war.
Quran (9:29) – “Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.” “People of the Book” refers to Christians and Jews. According to this verse, they are to be violently subjugated, with the sole justification being their religious status. This was one of the final “revelations” from Allah and it set in motion the tenacious military expansion, in which Muhammad’s companions managed to conquer two-thirds of the Christian world in the next 100 years. Islam is intended to dominate all other people and faiths.
Quran (9:30) – “And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!”
Quran (9:38-39) – “O ye who believe! what is the matter with you, that, when ye are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah, ye cling heavily to the earth? Do ye prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the Hereafter. Unless ye go forth, He will punish you with a grievous penalty, and put others in your place.” This is a warning to those who refuse to fight, that they will be punished with Hell.
Quran (9:41) – “Go forth, light-armed and heavy-armed, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the way of Allah! That is best for you if ye but knew.” See also the verse that follows (9:42) – “If there had been immediate gain (in sight), and the journey easy, they would (all) without doubt have followed thee, but the distance was long, (and weighed) on them” This contradicts the myth that Muslims are to fight only in self-defense, since the wording implies that battle will be waged a long distance from home (in another country and on Christian soil, in this case, according to the historians).
Quran (9:73) – “O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their abode is hell, and evil is the destination.” Dehumanizing those who reject Islam, by reminding Muslims that unbelievers are merely firewood for Hell, makes it easier to justify slaughter. It also explains why today’s devout Muslims have little regard for those outside the faith.
Quran (9:88) – “But the Messenger, and those who believe with him, strive and fight with their wealth and their persons: for them are (all) good things: and it is they who will prosper.”
Quran (9:111) – “Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Quran: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme.” How does the Quran define a true believer?
Quran (9:123) – “O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness.”
Quran (17:16) – “And when We wish to destroy a town, We send Our commandment to the people of it who lead easy lives, but they transgress therein; thus the word proves true against it, so We destroy it with utter destruction.” Note that the crime is moral transgression, and the punishment is “utter destruction.” (Before ordering the 9/11 attacks, Osama bin Laden first issued Americans an invitation to Islam).
Quran (18:65-81) – This parable lays the theological groundwork for honor killings, in which a family member is murdered because they brought shame to the family, either through apostasy or perceived moral indiscretion. The story (which is not found in any Jewish or Christian source) tells of Moses encountering a man with “special knowledge” who does things which don’t seem to make sense on the surface, but are then justified according to later explanation. One such action is to murder a youth for no apparent reason (74). However, the wise man later explains that it was feared that the boy would “grieve” his parents by “disobedience and ingratitude.” He was killed so that Allah could provide them a ‘better’ son. (Note: This is one reason why honor killing is sanctioned by Sharia. Reliance of the Traveler (Umdat al-Saliq) says that punishment for murder is not applicable when a parent or grandparent kills their offspring (o.1.1-2).)
Quran (21:44) – “We gave the good things of this life to these men and their fathers until the period grew long for them; See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? Is it then they who will win?”
Quran (25:52) – “Therefore listen not to the Unbelievers, but strive against them with the utmost strenuousness…” “Strive against” is Jihad – obviously not in the personal context. It’s also significant to point out that this is a Meccan verse.
Quran (33:60-62) – “If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and the alarmists in the city do not cease, We verily shall urge thee on against them, then they will be your neighbors in it but a little while. Accursed, they will be seized wherever found and slain with a (fierce) slaughter.” This passage sanctions the slaughter (rendered “merciless” and “horrible murder” in other translations) against three groups: Hypocrites (Muslims who refuse to “fight in the way of Allah” (3:167) and hence don’t act as Muslims should), those with “diseased hearts” (which include Jews and Christians 5:51-52), and “alarmists” or “agitators who include those who merely speak out against Islam, according to Muhammad’s biographers. It is worth noting that the victims are to be sought out by Muslims, which is what today’s terrorists do. If this passage is meant merely to apply to the city of Medina, then it is unclear why it is included in Allah’s eternal word to Muslim generations.
Quran (47:3-4) – “Those who reject Allah follow vanities, while those who believe follow the truth from their lord. Thus does Allah set forth form men their lessons by similitude. Therefore when you meet in battle those who disbelieve, then smite the necks until when you have overcome them, then make (them) prisoners,” Those who reject Allah are to be subdued in battle. The verse goes on to say the only reason Allah doesn’t do the dirty work himself is in order to to test the faithfulness of Muslims. Those who kill pass the test. “But if it had been Allah’s Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of Allah,- He will never let their deeds be lost.”
Quran (47:35) – “Be not weary and faint-hearted, crying for peace, when ye should be uppermost (Shakir: “have the upper hand”) for Allah is with you,”
Quran (48:17) – “There is no blame for the blind, nor is there blame for the lame, nor is there blame for the sick (that they go not forth to war). And whoso obeyeth Allah and His messenger, He will make him enter Gardens underneath which rivers flow; and whoso turneth back, him will He punish with a painful doom.” Contemporary apologists sometimes claim that Jihad means ‘spiritual struggle.’ Is so, then why are the blind, lame and sick exempted? This verse also says that those who do not fight will suffer torment in hell.
Quran (48:29) – “Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. And those with him are hard (ruthless) against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves” Islam is not about treating everyone equally. There are two very distinct standards that are applied based on religious status. Also the word used for ‘hard’ or ‘ruthless’ in this verse shares the same root as the word translated as ‘painful’ or severe’ in verse 16.
Quran (61:4) – “Surely Allah loves those who fight in His way” Religion of Peace, indeed! The verse explicitly refers to “battle array” meaning that it is speaking of physical conflict. This is followed by (61:9): “He it is who has sent His Messenger (Mohammed) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islam) to make it victorious over all religions even though the infidels may resist.” (See next verse, below). Infidels who resist Islamic rule are to be fought.
Quran (61:10-12) – “O You who believe! Shall I guide you to a commerce that will save you from a painful torment. That you believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad ), and that you strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives, that will be better for you, if you but know! (If you do so) He will forgive you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow, and pleasant dwelling in Gardens of ‘Adn – Eternity [‘Adn (Edn) Paradise], that is indeed the great success.” This verse refers to physical battle in order to make Islam victorious over other religions (see above). It uses the Arabic word, Jihad.
Quran (66:9) – “O Prophet! Strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be stern with them. Hell will be their home, a hapless journey’s end.” The root word of “Jihad” is used again here. The context is clearly holy war, and the scope of violence is broadened to include “hypocrites” – those who call themselves Muslims but do not act as such.

Temporary Mut’ah marriages are practiced among some Muslims. These are marriages where a time duration is fixed when the marriage contract is drawn.
The contract for the Mut’ah marriage is paid upfront or half before the start and half if sexual pleasure is derived. It is automatically dissolved upon completion of its term.
Despite the fact that this type of marriage is not authorised nor mentioned in the Quran, yet those who legalise it base their justification on the manipulation of some Quranic words in 4:24.
To research this type of marriage in the light of the Quran, the following issues need to be addressed:
FIRST
God would never advocate sin (7:28), not plain sin nor disguised sin (6:120). Anyone who writes a temporary marriage certificate for the sake of sexual activities is trying to disguise his sin. In fact he would not be any different from someone who hires a prostitute for a day or a week for sexual services. The only difference is that the first man conjured up a piece of paper and adds the title “marriage” to it! But the act, in purpose and execution, is the same.
This immoral type of marriage defies the whole concept and purpose of marriage as designed by God.
God ordained marriage to be a lasting union between man and woman. We only need to remember all the conditions which God placed before a divorce can be executed to realise that God regards marriage as a lasting and not temporary union.
The Quran places the following conditions before a divorce can be executed:
1- The couple must wait 4 months (cooling period) before committing to divorce (2:226)
2- The couple must seek a council from the 2 families and genuinely attempt to reconcile (4:35)
3- The wife should not be evicted from the marriage home unless she commits a gross sin (65:1)
4- The man must pay the divorced wife a divorce compensation (2:241)
5- The man must pay for children’s alimony (2:233)
6- If the man divorces a wife who is nursing his child, he must pay for her food and clothes for two years (2:233)
There is nowhere in the Quran that says that any of the above conditions can be broken under certain circumstance. In effect, it is impossible to fulfil all these conditions in the case of a temporary marriage. For example, how can a couple who draw a temporary marriage for 2 weeks wait for 4 months before getting divorce? The terms of their temporary marriage says that it is dissolved after 2 weeks! Equally, will the couple who set up a temporary “marriage for sex” arrangement for a week or two seek a council from their two families before they end the marriage?
As a result, temporary marriages violate the conditions God placed before a divorce can be executed. This is in addition to the moral issues which need not any clarification.
SECOND
Some who justify the Mut’ah marriages say that not everyone is able to get married, this could be for financial reasons or other reasons. Thus they claim that this type of marriage would be the answer for them.
When we read the Quran we find that God has already considered this situation and God gives the righteous solution for those who do not have the means to get married. The solution is not to hire a consenting woman and conjure up a convenient contract! The Quranic solution is given by God in the following verse:
“Those who do not have the means to get married shall maintain their chastity until God provides for them from His grace.”24:33
As we can see, this is the solution given to us by God. So those who do not have the means to get married, for any reason, they should maintain their chastity until God provides for them.
Those who engage in temporary marriages, and fool themselves by saying “it is legally drawn up” are violating the command in 24:33.
THIRD
Others have claimed that temporary marriages are a cheap and legal way to vent the human sex drive! This is also far from the truth.
The large majority of women who engage in such marriages are paid large sums of money for their services! As a result, temporary marriages are often enjoyed by rich men, who are mostly married to other women, and who just wish to enjoy a bit more sex on the side. They fool themselves by claiming that it is allowed by God!
In contrast, poor men do not have the means to pay these large sums, so are not the ones who engage in such marriages.
FOURTH
Others have said that some couples are not resorting to this type of marriages just for sexual reasons but because they are genuinely in love but do not have the means to get married in the conventional way. They add, that this would be a good solution for them.
The questions is: If this couple are genuinely in love, why would they want their marriage to be temporary?
FIFTH
When we come to the verse which is the subject of the manipulation (4:24), we need to read the words carefully and verify how accurate the claims are:
[4:24] Also forbidden are the women who are already married, except what your right hand possesses. This is God’s decree that is binding over you. Beyond those, all others are permitted for you, so long as you employ your money for marriage purposes and not for illicit sex. Those among them who are pleasing to you, you shall pay them their decreed dowries. You commit no error by mutually agreeing to any adjustments to the dowry. God is knowledgeable, Wise.
– When God says “employ your money for marriage purposes and not for illicit sex.” (tabtaghu b’amwalikum muhsineen ghayr musafiheen) God speaks about God’s definition of marriage and not the convenient sex contract which some people call marriage.
– When God says “Those among them who are pleasing to you, you shall pay them their decreed ‘ujoor’ (dowries)” (fama istamtaatum bihi minhum fa’ituhhunna ujurahhunna) God here is not saying whatever pleasure you get from women you should pay for! God is not speaking about cash for sex! The whole concept of all these verses (starting from 4:22) is marriage as authorised by God. What God is saying in 4:24 is that if a woman is pleasing to the man, then he may marry her as long as he pays her the dowry.
To corrupt these words and make them mean that God is allowing men to have sex (with a fake temporary contract) is an insult to God and the righteousness which God advocates.
SIXTH
God tells us in 18:109 that He is not short of words, which means that God gives us all the details in clear words. If God deems that additional words are needed to make a meaning clear God would have added them, God is not short of words.
We cannot see anywhere in the Quran any mention of temporary marriages! Has God forgotten to mention these marriages? The legalisation of this Mut’ah marriages can only be derived by some interpreters through manipulating some Quranic verses such as 4:24.
God’s law is derived from clear unambiguous words in the Quran and not by means of deviated interpretations.
Whatever they come up with, the fact will always remain that there are no words in the Quran which allow marriage to be drawn for a specified limited time in order to satisfy the sexual needs of the human being.
Once again we stress that God is not short of words.
Rather, the human being who engages in such falsehood should be ashamed for corrupting and manipulating God’s words in order to indulge in sin. This scandalous type of marriage, which is no more than disguised prostitution, is one good example for what God calls disguised sin (6:120).
SEVENTH
Finally, and in view of all the above considerations, it can be said without any shadow of doubt that a temporary marriage for the purpose of sexual activities is immoral and in violation of the laws of marriage as designed by God. The Mut’ah marriage is no more than a feeble attempt to ascribe legality to an act of paid sex. In other words, it is an attempt to legalise prostitution.
Whoever claims that this is legalised by God is actually insulting God!
God never advocates sin (7:28), thus God would never allow this arrangement.
Those who insist that God allowed Mut’ah marriages are in fact attributing lies to God, for they are in actual fact saying that God objects to prostitution if it is not accompanied by a contract, and that God is totally happy with the same paid act as long as it is written on a piece of paper!

Men can marry up to four women if they treat them equally; unlimited forcible concubines (rape) permitted.

And those of whom ye seek content (by marrying them), give unto them their portions as a duty. And there is no sin for you in what ye do by mutual agreement after the duty (hath been done). Lo! SHAKIR: “And all married women except those whom your right hands possess (this is) Allah’s ordinance to you, and lawful for you are (all women) besides those, provided that you seek (them) with your property, taking (them) in marriage not committing fornication. You can’t have sex with married women, unless they are slaves obtained in war (with whom you may rape or do whatever you like).
4:3 “Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice.”
4:25 “If any of you have not the means wherewith to wed free believing women, they may wed believing girls from among those whom your right hands possess.”
“Whom your right hand possess” is one of the most evil diabolical set of words ever written in any text. God has written in quite clear language that a Muslim can own another human being. Read the words: “your right hand possess” truly only Allah (the AntiGod) could conceive of such a wording. Slavery equated to – your right hand. Truly ingenious. Truly Allah. Not a God of Moral Perfection. It’s impossible for any reasonable person to conceive of a God that permits slavery. A God that not only permitted slavery but allowed as a holy duty the sheer horror of unlimited raping of women. In all human history – in all human thinking – there has never been a more vile institution ever created than slavery. 120 million blacks were murdered by Islam in the slave trade – truly one of the greatest holocausts in history. Black male slaves were castrated by their Muslim overlords to ensure that they would not breed. Many died after castration.
However, slavery in Islam applies not only to blacks but to ALL kafirs. Millions of Europeans were enslaved by Muslims. “Whom your right hand possess” is so evil as to be unspeakable. These words are not Moral Perfection but immoral imperfection. Islam is the greatest criminal ideology in history. God as a slave trader profiting on 20% of the profits earned from breeding and selling human beings. How can 1.2 billion people believe in such craziness? Unfortunately, they do and the number is growing daily.
Sura 23 (The Believers), Verses 1-6
23.1-6: “Successful indeed are the believers, Who are humble in their prayers, And who keep aloof from what is vain, And who are givers of poor-rate, And who guard their private parts, Except before their mates or those whom their right hands possess, for they surely are not blameable.”
This is the Sura which gives the slave owner the right of sexual access to his female slaves. The term “guarding the private parts” is a synonym for sexual intercourse.
The Quran not only allows slavery and sex with captured women and slave girls, it says God may even pardon those who forced their slave girls to sell their bodies.
Quran 24.33: “Force not your slave-girls to whoredom that ye may seek enjoyment of the life of the world, if they would preserve their chastity. And if one force them, then (unto them), after their compulsion, lo! Allah will be Forgiving, Merciful.s said that this is not blameable if indulges with wives and slaves.”
Sura 70 (The Ways of Ascent) verses 29-35
70: 29-35 “And those who guard their private parts, Except in the case of their wives or those whom their right hands possess — for these surely are not to be blamed, But he who seeks to go beyond this, these it is that go beyond the limits — And those who are faithful to their trusts and their covenant And those who are upright in their testimonies, And those who keep a guard on their prayer, Those shall be in gardens, honored.”
These verses give the right to slave owners to have sexual relation with female slaves.
70:22-30: “Not so the worshippers, who are steadfast in prayer, who set aside a due portion of their wealth for the beggar and for the deprived, who truly believe in the Day of Reckoning and dread the punishment of their Lord (for none is secure from the punishment of their Lord); who restrain their carnal desire (save with their wives and their slave girls, for these are lawful to them: he that lusts after other than these is a transgressor…” This verse shows that Muslim men were allowed to have sex with their wives (of course) and their slave girls.
Muhammad can go beyond the four-wife restriction, can treat his own wives and sex slaves unequally.
33:50-52 “O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom God has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts, and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts, who migrated (from Makka) with thee; and any believing woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her;- this only for thee, and not for the Believers (at large); We know what We have appointed for them as to their wives and the captives whom their right hands possess;- in order that there should be no difficulty for thee. And God is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful. Thou mayest defer (the turn of) any of them that thou pleasest, and thou mayest receive any thou pleasest: and there is no blame on thee if thou invite one whose (turn) thou hadst set aside. This were nigher to the cooling of their eyes, the prevention of their grief, and their satisfaction – that of all of them – with that which thou hast to give them: and God knows (all) that is in your hearts: and God is All-Knowing, Most Forbearing. It is not lawful for thee (to marry more) women after this, nor to change them for (other) wives, even though their beauty attract thee, except any thy right hand should possess (as handmaidens): and God doth watch over all things.”
This verse 33:50-52 is for Muhammad. God allows Muhammad to own and rape his slave girls.
The above verses are only a few out of numerous such verses scattered throughout the Quran. What could be more unethical than owning slaves and raping slave girls? God graciously allowed Muslims to own and rape slave girls. prophet Muhammad himself and his disciples routinely raped their slave girls. Muslim men were permitted unlimited raping of their slaves and even gang rape. Sex slaves were one of the main factors in the spread of Islam. This is the evil that is Islam.

Moulana Mohammed Masood Azhar, the leader of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Pakistan, based much of his book – The Virtues of Jihad – on the importance of fighting as set forth in the Qur’an. ‘There is consensus of opinion’, Azhar argued, ‘amongst researchers of the Quran, that no other particular action has been stated in such great detail as Jihad.'[19] According to his analysis, the term jihad-fi-sabilillah (‘Jihad in the path of Allah’) was referred to in the Qur’an 26 times, and qital (fighting) 79 times.
In light of this apparent importance of Qur’anic foundations for prescribing violent jihad, as well as the centrality of doctrinal purity for the Salafi-jihadist, the current study identified several cases of inaccurate referrals and misrepresentations of the Qur’an in the samples analysed.
De-contextualised and Truncated Use of Quotes from the Qur’an to Justify Violence
The declaration from the ‘World Islamic Front for Jihad against the Jews and Crusaders’, issued in February 1998, announced the ambition of the group that later became known as Al-Qaeda to ‘kill the Americans and their allies—civilians and military.’ The declaration, which is now seen as one of the more important public messages from the Al-Qaeda leadership, began by quoting Sura At-Taubah (9): 5, urging Muslims to recognise their duty to ‘slay the idolaters’ wherever they were found.[20] However, the verse, as it was written by bin Laden and his co-signatories, quoted only half the ayah, commanding Muslims to besiege idolaters wherever they could be found as soon as the months wherein fighting was prohibited had passed. Left out was the second part of the ayah—’but if they repent and fulfil their devotional obligations and pay the zakat, then let them go their way, for God is forgiving and kind.'[21]
Bin Laden, as Bruce Lawrence noted, applied the same verse in a similarly truncated manner in his earlier Declaration of War in October 1996. [22] The section bin Laden omitted followed, according to Rosalind Gwynne’s analysis, a ‘permitted’ pause.[23] However, the context and implied message has been altered from that conveyed through the full ayah, or the verses immediately preceding and following 9:5. [24]. This is demonstrative of, what Lawrence identifies as, bin Laden’s selective application of the Qur’an to fit his specific ambitions:
First, he selects only those Qur’anic verses that fit his message, and then cites them exclusively for his own purposes. He ignores both their original context and also the variety of historical differences among committed Muslims about how to apply their dicta. Second, he collapses the broad spectrum of Qur’anic teaching into a double requirement: first to believe and then to fight. [25]
The Qur’an in this case has been applied to match the specific topic and agenda of the group responsible, identifying ‘idolaters’ (worshippers of false gods) as legitimate targets. Ayman al-Zawahiri, founding member of the ‘World Islamic Front’, had argued in an earlier statement on behalf of Al-Jihad how the command to target idolaters was particularly relevant with respect to Western liberal democracies:
Democracy is a new religion. In Islam, legislation comes from God; in a democracy, this capacity is given to the people. Therefore, this is a new religion, based on making the people into gods and giving them God’s rights and attributes. This is tantamount to associating idols with God and falling into unbelief.[26]
Other statements from Zawahiri also illustrate how Al-Qaeda attached the label ‘idolater'(worshiper of false gods) to Christians, thus legitimising their targeting in light of its interpretation of the Qur’an. In 2006, for instance, he claimed: ‘Christianity cannot be accepted by a sound mind because it includes superstitions like the trinity, the crucifixion, redemption, the original sin, the infallibility of the pope, and the church’s forgiveness of sins.'[27] Numerous Al-Qaeda communiqués, moreover, have sought to bring Arab political leaders under this category of ‘idol kings’, whose targeting is therefore sanctioned by the Qur’an.[28]
Thus, Al-Qaeda seeks to structure both the core of its own narrative, as well as the Qur’anic verses themselves to match the group’s strategic ambitions and ideology, and base these arguments on perceived religious legitimisation.
A truncated version of At-Taubah (9): 5 also features in Abdullah Azzam’s review of the development of the concept of jihad in the name of the Lord in his seminal work Defence of the Muslim Lands, already mentioned above. Quoting Ibn Abidin (d. 1842), a Hanafi jurist and scholar, Azzam explained how the order to fight was revealed to Muslims in stages, arguing more aggressive war against Mushrikun – Jews, Christians and pagans (in his interpretation) – would be permitted after the sacred months had passed:
Then, they were ordered to fight with conditions, when the sacred months had passed: “Then when the sacred months (the 1st, 7th, 11th, and 12th months of the Islamic calendar) have past, then kill the Mushrikun wherever you find them…”.[29]
The limitations on fighting as stipulated in Sura 9:5 were presumably deliberately excluded as was the different context in the Qur’an. The same goes for the book Mashari al-Ashwaq ila Masari al-Ushaaq by Ibn Nuhaas (Ahmad Ibrahim Muhammad al Dimashqi) [30], a mediaeval scholar (d.1411). Rape – The Laws and Realities for the Muslim Community
For all intents and purposes, the act of rape stands as the world’s foremost criminal offense against women. Rape is not about sex or lust, but a violent assault motivated by a need to control, humiliate and cause harm. Perpetrators gain a sense of power and dominance by inflicting pain and terror upon their victims. Rape is a crime regardless of the circumstances and whether the perpetrator is a spouse, a stranger, a date, an acquaintance, or even a family member.
Although its scope and classification may vary by country, rape is universally defined as “forced sexual intercourse with a non-consenting person.” In some jurisdictions, the term “sexual assault” also is used to refer to rape. But by definition, sexual assault has a broader classification and includes any form of unwanted and nonconsensual sexual touching.
Contrary to popular belief, most rapes do not occur in dark alleys or unfamiliar settings, in fact, approximately six in 10 incidents take place in the victim’s home or the home of a friend or relative. More often than not, victims are familiar with their assailants, and only 30 percent of rapes are carried out by strangers. While it is a gender-neutral crime, nevertheless, women account for approximately 80 percent of rape victims, out of which 28 percent are subjected to marital rape by their husbands; 35 percent by an acquaintance; and 17 percent by a relative other than a spouse.
Despite continuing global initiatives aimed at ending violence against women and girls, incidences of rape still constitute an ever-increasing reality. According to the United Nations Development Fund for Women, one in five women worldwide will become a victim of rape or attempted rape in her lifetime. Another report on data covering 65 countries, disclosed that more than 250,000 cases of male-female rape or attempted rape were recorded by police annually. Although extremely disturbing, these statistics still do not accurately reflect the prevalence of rape, as it remains the world’s most under-reported violent crime.
Rape is a taboo subject in the majority of Muslim countries and communities. The interpretation of rape in Islam also constitutes a highly misconceived subject matter among Muslims and non-Muslims alike. Despite the pervasive and misguided assertions that rape is sanctioned in Islam, in actual fact, Islam neither condones nor advocates rape. Any contention to the contrary is mere conjecture by some Muslims seeking to uphold and justify misogynistic practices embedded in indigenous non-Islamic cultural norms and traditions. The correct Islamic position is that centuries of jurists have classified rape as a hiraba crime. In Islamic Jurisprudence, hiraba felonies comprise those criminal acts that are a threat to the society at large. In addition to rape, other offences in this category include murder, robbery and terrorism. For every hiraba offense, the Qur’an levies a severe and deterring punishment, and, in the case of rape, that penalty is death.
“When a woman went out in the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him) for prayer, a man attacked her and overpowered (raped) her. She shouted and he went off, and when a man came by, she said: That (man) did such and such to me. And when a company of the Emigrants came by, she said: That man did such and such to me. They went and seized the man whom they thought had had intercourse with her and brought him to her. She said: Yes, this is he. Then they brought him to the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him). When he (the Prophet) was about to pass sentence, the man who (actually) had assaulted her stood up and said: Apostle of Allah, I am the man who did it to her. He (the Prophet) said to the woman: Go away, for Allah has forgiven you. And about the man who had intercourse with her, he said: Stone him to death. He also said: He has repented to such an extent that if the people of Medina had repented similarly, it would have been accepted from them.” [Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 38, Number 4366]
Correspondingly, this hadith also negates the fallacy that Islamic law requires a female rape victim to produce four witnesses in order to prove her case. This is purely an assertion by those who attempt to make a false analogy with zina, or adultery, by inferring from the following Qur’anic injunction:
“The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication,- flog each of them with a hundred stripes: Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by Allah, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment.”
“And as for those who accuse chaste women [of adultery], and then are unable to produce four witnesses [in support of their accusation] – flog them with eighty stripes; and reject their evidence ever after: for such men are wicked transgressors.” [Qur’an 24:2 & 5]
However, even in the case of adultery, it is not the woman, but those charging her with adultery that are required to produce four witness to prove their accusation.
Islamic Jurisprudence also provides civil redress for a rape victim under its law of jirah, or wounds. Islamic law designates ownership rights to each part of the body, and a right to corresponding compensation for any harm inflicted upon each one of those parts. Hence, Islamic law ascertains that, by its violent nature, the act of rape causes harm to the sexual organ. So, each school of Islamic law holds that where a woman is harmed through sexual intercourse, including marital intercourse, she is entitled to the appropriate financial compensation.
Furthermore, the Islamic response to rape neither adjudicates blame nor assesses any wrong doing on the part of the female victim. But, contrary to this edict, in some Muslim communities, women are held responsible and stigmatized for the violence done against them. Some of these jurisdictions have penal codes that send female rape victims to jail and permit a rapist to go free if he proposes marriage to his victim. As such, a woman is forced to marry her attacker in order to procure her safety and re-entry into society. More horrifying is that, in several Muslim societies, rape victims are murdered by relatives because the violation of a woman’s chastity is viewed as an attack to the family’s honor. A report by the United Nations Population Fund estimates that the annual worldwide number of honor killing victims may be as high as 5,000 women. A study on female deaths in Alexandria, Egypt revealed that nearly 50 percent of women were killed by a relative after being raped. In rural Bangladesh, a study on the consequences of rape for young unmarried girls highlighted numerous cases of victims beaten, murdered, or driven to suicide because of the “dishonor” that their rape brought on the family. Tragically, many women also are either made or driven to take their own lives in what is known as “honor suicide,” so as to relieve the family of their shame. Suffice it to say that suicide in itself is a great sin and forbidden in Islam.
In addition to the devastating ordeal of the physical assault, the effects and aftermath of rape can cause a myriad of physical and psychological trauma. Rape survivors need critical medical care, comfort, and a way to heal. Along with reproductive health problems, female rape victims are more likely to experience chronic pelvic pain, arthritis, digestive problems, chronic pain, seizures, and more intense premenstrual symptoms. There also is the possibility for a victim to contract a sexually transmitted disease, which can ultimately lead to other physical health problems. Another potential outcome is that a female victim may become pregnant. Understandably, the victim’s reaction is to have an abortion instead of bearing the child of her attacker, and living with a constant reminder of her ordeal. But, the Islamic position is that abortion is wrong and haram, or forbidden. Although the Qur’an does not explicitly refer to abortion, this viewpoint is based on the value Islam accords to the sanctity of life. It states:
“Whosoever has spared the life of a soul, it is as though he has spared the life of all people. Whosoever has killed a soul, it is as though he has murdered all of mankind.” [Qur’an 5:32]
Hence, Islamic scholars establish this guidance as applicable to abortion, since a fetus in the womb is recognized and protected by Islam as a human life. Nevertheless, it is unanimously agreed that an exception is made if continuing the pregnancy puts the mother’s life in danger.
Also, the frightening and traumatizing nature of rape can result in post-traumatic stress disorder. This condition is characterized by a victim repeatedly re-experiencing the rape in dreams or flashbacks; feeling emotionally numb; experiencing increased difficulty to sleep or concentrate; and exhibiting sudden and frequent outbursts of anger.
A welcome and noteworthy development on this very subject recently emerged from the seat of Islam itself – the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a June 2011 news report, the Saudi Society for Children’s Care announced the establishment of various committees to provide legal support as well as counseling and rehabilitation services for female victims of a serial rapist. The report also confirmed that a suspect had been arrested. Albeit being encouraging news, such instances are too few and far between to make a significant impact in communities across the globe. More pointedly, such accounts hardly reach where they are needed the most; those far reaching rural areas deeply immersed in jahiliyyah (the pre-Islamic era characterized by a state of ignorance of the guidance from God). And, in cases where they do reach these communities, it is often explained away as Western propaganda and/or attempts to undermine Islam.
There is no justification for rape; no matter when, where or how it happened. It is a venom that devastates and corrodes the fabric of family and society, and Muslims everywhere can no longer look the other way and terrorize rape survivors into remaining silent while allowing their attackers to get away scot free. The Muslim nation has a moral and spiritual obligation to return to Islam by changing the enabling non-Islamic attitude toward the crime of rape, its stigmatization and resultant honor killings and suicides. Critical first steps should include education on the correct Islamic standpoint on rape; ending secondary victimization of female rape victims; providing legal and comprehensive medical services for rape survivors; establishing safe havens for victims; and instituting zero tolerance by apprehending and punishing rapists. However, realistically, no initiative will be fully successful unless it is accompanied by initiatives that do away with centuries of male-driven oppressive customs against women. Therefore, the burden of bringing about these changes squarely rests upon the shoulders of Muslim jurists, scholars and leaders, as they have the voice and access to implement these changes and ensure their full application.
So, when it comes to the issue of rape, it is not Islam that fails women; the culprit is the preponderance of patriarchal systems’ priority to bolster and defend oppressive customs to the exclusion of the well-being of its female citizenry. Clearly, the unadulterated doctrine of Islam places tremendous emphasis on the value of human life and strongly advocates the equitable preservation of the sanctity of life. Its directives consistently override those actions and attitudes that threaten the social, mental and physical well-being of all of mankind. Idealistically, the Muslim nation should emerge as a global leader and champion of initiatives to deter and end violence against women and girls. But, tragically, most of its impetus lends not to the Islamic, but barbaric diktat where sexual autonomy is not a feminine right, and men have the inalienable right to force a woman into satisfying their carnal desires.

I am 21 year old and I took my shahadah when I was 20, about 6 months ago. And, I came from a Hindu family.
Like every teenager, I joined my college in a small town in West Bengal, India. I had everything a teenager would desire, loving parents, awesome college, superb buddies and I had a loving boyfriend. Everything was perfect but still I felt some shortage, a sort of dissatisfaction. I had Muslim friends, but we never talked about Islam or any religion. Rather, I picked up interest in Christianity as I always felt an attraction towards prophet Isa (AS), but somehow, the concept of trinity disturbed me.
But I always had a spiritual attraction towards Kaa’ba. I remember saying my boyfriend about a future trip to Mekkah and especially Kaa’ba. (I didn’t know that I had to be a Muslim to go to Mekkah). I used to spend my time watching the video of people doing Umrah and more I saw the videos more I developed the attraction.
Soon, due to some problems, I broke up with my boyfriend and I started spending my time working on Islam and reading about it. That was when I realized that I have to be a Muslim to make Umrah. While working on Islam, I came across a Muslim brother from France in a Facebook page and I asked few question about Islam and unknowingly I took my shahadah just to make Umrah.
But at that time I was not serious about Islam, it was just the desire to do the Umrah for which I said my shahadah. Soon I started reading Qur’an and kept on discussing with the brother.
And while I was in the midst of Surah Al- Baqarah and a long research I realized that Islam is the truth and I took shahadah seriously and started practicing Islam.
The challenge was, I was in a area of majority Hindus, no practicing Muslims around, no Masjids around, but Alhamdulillah, I took help from internet and the brother along with some sisters I came across online, they guided me and helped me.
Islam has made me a complete human being, and has given me everything I ever wanted. The teenage life of buddies, dance, music, partners are just to fill the emptiness in the heart but, Alhamdulillah, Allah is the turner of hearts, Qur’an is the healer of hearts and Islam fills the emptiness of hearts.

An unbiased study of Quran shows that far from being a “miracle” that book is a hoax. Once Quran is scrutinized with rational thinking, almost every sentence proves to be false. Quran is replete with scientific heresies, historic blunders, mathematical mistake, logical absurdities and grammatical errors. Heretical Christianity: Islam’s conception of Christianity came through its gnostic and heretical forms. Other non-biblical heretical stories, which made their way into the Qur’an, include mistaking the Holy Trinity to represent God, Mary (instead of the Holy Spirit), and Jesus (Surah 5:116) (as if to imply a sexual union between God and Mary to produce Jesus), believing that Jesus did not die on the cross (Surah 4:157), as well as the story of the seven sleepers (Surah 18:9-26). All these deviating tales existed hundreds of years before the advent of Islam. The Qur’an freely copied them.
If Islam came from the Creator, why would it embrace pagan, animistic practices, such as kissing a black stone, encircling the Ka’aba on pilgrimages, or making the Ka’aba (a pagan relic) the object of prayer? Why would Islam focus the Muslim’ attention of things rather than on the Creator?
Since the Quran contains material from many sources such as pagan, heretical Christian, heathen, cultic, poetic, and from fables, then the notion that Islam is heavenly in origin is intellectually embarrassing!

In the Qur’an, this is described as follows:{When the Deafening Blast comes, the Day a man will flee from his brother and his mother and his father, and his wife and his children: on that Day every man among them will have concerns enough of his own.}(`Abasa 50: 33-37)The concept of lineage loses its importance. From then on, the only thing that matters is to be saved from the penalty of Allah the Almighty. This is so important that, in order to be saved from this state, unbelievers even offer to sacrifice their own sons, spouses, brothers, etc.{On the Day the sky is like molten brass and the mountains like tufts of colored wool. No good friend will ask about his friend even though they can see each other. An evildoer will wish he could ransom himself from the punishment ofthat Day, by means of his sons, or his wife or his brother or his family who sheltered him or everyone else on earth, if that only meant that he could save himself.}(Al-Ma`arij 70: 8-14)On the Day of Reckoning, the most precious valuables are the righteous deeds done to earn Allah’s pleasure.Surely, these efforts of unbelievers bring no results. The main target of unbelievers in the worldly life was amassing a fortune, making a career, or having sons. They spent all their lives toattain these goals. However, on the Day of Judgment, they grasp that all these concepts are not precious at all. Judgment Day is the time when unbelievers will desire to vanish. For believers, however, it is the time zealously and joyfully awaited for. Allah describes these moments in His verses as follows:{That Day some faces will be radiant, laughing, rejoicing. That Day some faces will be dust-covered, overcast with gloom. Those are the dissolute unbelievers.}(`Abasa 80: 38-42)On the Day of Reckoning, the most precious valuables one possesses are the righteous deeds purely done to earn the good pleasure of Allah. However, unbelievers have never striven for this treasure, which would bring them eternalsalvation. Not a single good deed or blessing they have to present to Allah on that day. Having no faith in Allah, all their righteous efforts will have been wasted. Allah states this fact as follows:{Say: “Shall I inform you of the greatest losers in their actions? People whose efforts in the life of the world are misguided while they suppose that they are doing good.” Those are the people who reject their Lord’s Signs and the meeting with Him. Their actions will come to nothing and, on the Day of Resurrection, We will not assign them any weight.}(Al-Kahf 18: 103-105)Those who denied the religion (deen) and harbored doubts about the existence of the Day of Judgment, did not feel the necessity to get prepared for this approaching day. For a lifetime, theyoccupied themselves with amassing wealth and following their vain desires. Now they confront a regret they will never be free of. Allah states this in the Qur’an in this way:{They will say, “Alas for us! This is the Day of Reckoning!” This is the Day of Decision you used to deny.}(As-Saffat 37: 20-21)Furthermore, unbelievers will find all the unscrupulous, ungrateful and evil deeds that they committed in the world discovered in the Presence of Allah. They will personally bear witness to the sins they committed. Allah describes this in the Qur’an as follows:{…They will be paraded before your Lord in ranks: “You have come to Us just as We created you at first. Yes indeed! Even though you claimed that We would not fix a time with you.” The Book will be setin place and you will see the evildoers fearful of what is in it. They will say,”Alas for us! What is this Book which does not pass over any action, small or great, without recording it?” They will find there everything they did and your Lord will not wrong anyone at all.}(Al-Kahf 18: 48-49){That Day people will emerge segregatedto see the results of their actions. Whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it. Whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it.}(Az-Zalzalah 99: 6-8)

Are you baptized? There is still time to consider it, in case Jesus asks for it.

Turning to Allaah by making du’aa’ in any way that is prescribed in Islam, such as saying, “Rabbiy ishrah li sadri wa yassir li amri (O my Lord, expand my chest and make things easy for me).”

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) once said to one of his companions: “Son, if you are able, keep your heart..free from malice toward anyone.” Al-Tirmidhi:59
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “(God) will (question a person) on the Day of Resurrection (saying)): ‘O son of Adam, I was sick but you did not visit Me.’ The person will say: ‘O my Lord, how could I visit Thee when Thou art the Lord of the worlds?’ Thereupon (God) will say: ‘Didn’t you know that a servant of Mine was sick but you did not visit him, and were you not aware that if you had visited him, you would have found Me by him?’(God will then say) ‘O son of Adam, I asked you for food but you did not feed Me.’ The person will say: ‘My Lord, how could I feed Thee when Thou art the Lord of the worlds?’ (God) will say: ‘Didn’t you know that a servant of Mine asked you for food but you did not feed him, and were you not aware that if you had fed him you would have found him by My side?’ Muslim:1172
A funeral procession once passed in front of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and he stood up out of respect. When he was told the person in the coffin was Jewish and not Muslim, he said: “Was it not a living (soul)?” Bukhari:V2N399

The parable of those who spend their wealth in the way of God is that of a grain that sprouts into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. God gives manifold increase to whom He wishes. God has boundless knowledge. Those who spend their wealth in the cause of God, and do not follow their charity with reminders of their generosity or injure the feeling of the recipient, shall get their reward from their Lord; they shall have nothing to fear or to regret.Kind words and forgiveness are better than charity followed by injury.
