To all the ignorant people,
For a fact I am a GIRL and was a Hindu but I have always found myself lost over the concept of God in my religion. I am having a very loving Muslim partner.
No religion is good or bad, it is the person following it that is good or bad. Consider this if a person who doesnt know how to drive a car is given a BMW to drive and he crashes it will you blame the driver or the car company. Its the same for every religion it all depends on the person following it.
If any literate logical person is asked to research on the rightness of a religion then you will come to know that Islam is a very logical religion. That there is only one God and he does not want us to idolise Him or associate partners with Him. Thats it! Same thing is mentioned in the Ten Commandments. According to Islam our life is a Test and our real goal should be winning Heaven and the Quran is the instruction from God how we can achieve it. Some few people or so called muslims dont follow it properly and the religion is blamed for all this just like blaming the car company BMW for a car crashed by a layman.
And for the record Allah is just an arabic name for The God(i.e The Only God). Eg: You can call water by any other name but it will still be water. But if you call any other liquid by name of water it doesnt become water. Same way The God has many names but You cant give the name of God to anything else be it an idol a reincarnation, avatar, or his creatin like sun, moon etc. that hindus tend to do.
Humans have interpolated our pure Hindu religion to what it is today to mislead humanity thats why God has sent the Quran not for some specific part of the world but for the whole humanity.
I totally agree (to Chand). The verses of the Quran had been revealed during specific conditions so when you come across a verse on wars etc please research the sitiuations when they were revealed and then make your opinions.
In islam its haraam to force someone to accept it so basicly the people that you are refering to are ignorant to the true way to follow islam. And speaking for myself I wont force my faith on anyone but make that anyone see the truth but to believe or not is his personal view. I think why hindus dont “force their faith” on others or even preach it is because they themselves hardly know the concept of their religion.

The above article is meant for the ignorants! The writer of this article is just following his prophet Muhammad who addressed the ignorants as the wise won’t accept his superstitous and illogical cult. Hindus do preach it but don’t try to convert the people to Hinduism just to multiply the numbers of the Hindus. They don’t believe in Taqia (using deceit to propagate a religion) because they believe everybody is free to worship the God without a middle man i.e. a prophet.
Hinduism doesn’t believe in any force or treachery to propagate itself. It spreads on its merit. See, 30% of Americans practice yoga, most of them believe in pluralism, 70% of the world has abandoned the practice of circumcisiom. Not only this, most of the people in the west has started believing in the theory of karma. Further 25% of the westerners have started cremating the bodies instead of burying them. And finally treating all religions equal. (read, We are all Hindus now)
Don’t the above mentioned concepts derive their origin from Hinduism? Hinduism doesn’t believe in labeling. Hinduism is just following the universal natural laws for the benefit of the creation including the so called Muslims.
Finally, the concepts of Hinduism are the legacy of all the human beings, and not a specific group. All the old enlightened personalities in any religion, have contributed to spread its benefits to all the living beings.

I am not married yet but inshaAllah very soon. And I have been following Islam for a year and to make it clear I have not converted because someone has asked me too. He just asked me to do some religious research because yes its a need to marry only believing men/women. That’s how I found truth and want that everybody else does too. If God forbids I don’t marry this guy its not as if I am going to leave Islam. Islam has given me a way of life and I won’t leave it for anybody. Now how do you assume that only BMW(religion) is the best car in the market, whereas there are so many other cars also available in the market. Do you know that the Arabic word “Allah” derived from Sanskrit language? If you break down the word “Allah”, you get “Al+ilah”. The word for Goddess in Sanskrit is “ilah”. “Allah” is not the only word that Arabic language borrowed from Sanskrit. There are so many words that Arabic language borrowed from Sanskrit.

I sense much of hate towards “Muslims” and therefore Islam in general, therefore i ask fellow brothers and sisters (we are all family after all) to please refrain from reading this with preconditioned judgements towards me or Islam. When i say Islam i mean in its pure sense, not how so called “Muslims” actions portray it to be, nor the so called Islamic countries. I am sure this is what GodisGreat saw in Islam and is defending.
I follow a Mystic form of Islam (Submission to the will of God) called Sufism, which is basically a “religion” of love. I will not go into further detail regarding sufism for that is much better explained on wikipedia.

I dont claim to be any sort of expert on religion but with my limited knowledge i would like give some information that would enable everyone to judge Islam properly.
With regards to all the quotes on Hadith and the Quran ..
Firstly, everything was in Arabic, which is a very difficult language to translate from. Therefore each person who translated it had to make some assumptions when choosing the correct words to use in their respective translations. These assumptions came from their understanding of of Islam, which is always limited (culture and time period would drastically influence the translation) and would therefore differ from person to person.
Secondly, there is a context to every verse or hadeeth. As soon as you take something out of context the variety of interpretations could be unlimited. For example, alcohol was first allowed in the early periods of Islam and later prohibited for various reasons .. If quote that verse out of context and say i can drink alcohol now, that would be ridiculous.
I will quickly burn through important clarifications in response to above topics. Please ask me if you need proof for any of my statements, i may be slow as i am writing tertiary exams.
Please refrain from mixing Islam and “Muslims”.
Women are highly respected in Islam, there are several verses and hadeeth that prove this… Those who respect women are considered the best of men and those who disrespect women are considered to be close to animals, maybe even worse for animals don’t have a conscience. Men have distorted translations so badly that they convince themselves that (God forbid) rape is justifiable in Islam.
Any verses regarding slavery were for that period in which slavery was a norm. Slavery is disliked in Islam, there are countless examples of the freeing of slaves in the Prophet’s time.
Regarding that 72 virgins, it has no relation to Islam, i have no idea where that comes from, its actually hilarious.
The Quran does says that there will be virgins with lustrous eyes in heaven etc. I interpret this is directed to those men who want some sort of gain for worshiping God, the whole idea of heaven is God giving those who want returns for worshiping their Creator.. Are we not suppose to submit our selves in thanks to God for this life amazing already? Anyway, thats besides the point..
I am not just giving theories on how women should be treated.. My mother is psychologist and teacher,
she is very active in the community more so than my father, who is a practicing Muslim. He treats her with honor and respect. I don’t see so much of this respect for one another in todays dominantly secular society. I am quite disgusted with any man who treats a women badly, no matter what ‘religion’ they follow
Islam is a religion of peace and justice. That is why the main reason for war and violence is against oppression.
It is also important to keep in mind that wars were fought by men during that period. Men were only allowed to be killed in wars. As far as my understanding, women and children are not supposed to be killed.
Today, innocent civilian women and children are being killed by so called “Muslims” who fight for their twisted interpretation of Islam. Suicide is considered a ticket to Hell in Islam.

I have a best friend who is a female and Hindu, I’ve realized that all “religions” are the same … I actually dont believe in “religions”, there is only one God and the paths to him are as many as the people on this earth.

On the other hand letting go of something that you think you would like to do some day is no big deal when you see the real picture behind it. Allah has said that when his believers take one step towards Him, he take sten steps towards them and when a believer lets go off something for Allah, he showers them with something more dearly.

Plus the thing about polygamy is you need to understand a simple fact that polygamy in Islam is a matter of mutual consent so the husband can’t just come one day and say to his wife that I have taken a second wife. NO! And besides in Islam the wife has a right to stipulate that her husband must not marry another woman, why is this point always being shuffled behind the curtains when accusing Islam

Taking a second wife, even with the free consent of the first wife, is a violation of the law. On the other hand, cheating on the wife, without her knowledge or consent, is perfectly legitimate as far as the law is concerned! What is the legal wisdom behind such a contradiction? Is the law designed to reward deception and punish honesty? It is one of the unfathomable paradoxes of our modern ‘civilised’ world

Because its just a recommendation for a time when the sex ratio was very low, its not a hard and fast rule and there are places and times in which there are compelling social and moral reasons for polygamy. As the above Quranic verses indicates, the issue of polygamy in Islam cannot be understorstood apart from community obligations towards orphans and widows. Islam as a universal religion suitable for all places and all times could not ignore these compelling obligations.
“If you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, marry women of your choice, two or three or four; but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly with them, then only one” (Quran 4:3).
This is the exact verse so its not like a free loading for men to marry more than one women
We have two Korans, a Geeta, three Bibles and Torah sitting right in from of us. Have you read these other books? How do you know Koran is only true one?
You cut off front and back lines of Quran 4:3 “If you fear that you cannot treat orphans with fairness, then you may marry other women who seems good to you: two, three, or four of them. But if you fear that you cannot maintain equality among them, marry one only or any slave-girls you may own. This will make it easier for you to avoid injustice.”
Why slave-girls have no rights in the eyes of Allah?

I applaud the way you have created a seperate post of my comments on Islam but left out other comments about justifying Hinduism. I am actually having a good laugh reading this post specially when the site is called “interfaithshaadi.org” and also the bashing done by some female writers.
Its ironic to see so many people having tremendous hatred in their heart for another’s religion and you very people say Islam encourages hatred.
Time and again I said its the person following a religion that matters not the religion. Just like a classroom with the same teacher still has toppers and failures. will you blame the teacher for the failed ones?
All this doesn’t change an iota of truth for me. It just confirms my belief because some day when with an unbiased mind you login to see your comments it may create a conflict within you, not that I care.
I’ll pray to God to reduce the hatreds in your heart atleast. No matter how hard we fight with each other at the end we have the same Lord.
Also, to tell you the truth I used to think the same thing most of the writers here have written though not with that much intensity, but the truth is always around the corner and those who want to see it will see it.
And don’t worry about me running away from here because the least this post has done is fill me with gratitude for what I know today. I just came here to share the way I feel about Islam and being closer to God

God in his infinite wisdom and divine creative genius has created two categories of Homo sapien women: Kafir women and Muslim women. A kafir woman has absolutely no humanity. A Muslim man has the full right granted by God to murder her husband, father, brother, boy friend and then rape and gang rape the kafir woman and her daughter(s) no matter what their age. The Muslim can then keep the kafir woman/child as his sex slave or sell her into slavery. In Islam, these are all holy acts to be rewarded by accession to previously described sexual Paradise.
The second greatest crime a man can commit against a woman is to rape her (murder being the greatest crime.) In Islam – rape is not only a sexual weapon – it is a weapon of war. Having murdered the kafir woman’s man, Muslims can now – sanctioned by the law of God complete their final humiliation and domination of her body. Rape instills fear and subjugation in the kafir. A God of Moral Perfection would never allow any man to commit such a heinous crime – rape of any woman. He would never permit the sexual enslavement of kafir women/children. There are no such laws of God.
Following are some of the IMMORAL EVIL LAWS OF ALLAH (the ANTIGOD) of RAPING SEX SLAVES. These laws are ETERNAL AND FOR ALL TIME.
Men can marry up to four women if they treat them equally; unlimited forcible concubines (rape) permitted.
In Islam, not only are men allowed to practice polygamy, but they may also capture women in war and use them as sex slaves. This is considered morally legitimate according to the Quran. In other words, non-Muslim women have no right to be free from the horror of slavery and serial rape by Muslim men. Note the term “whom your right hand possess” means slaves.
Quran 4.24
YUSUFALI: “ (prohibited are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess: Thus hath Allah ordained (Prohibitions) against you: Except for these, all others are lawful, provided ye seek (them in marriage) with gifts from your property,- desiring chastity, not lust, seeing that ye derive benefit from them, give them their dowers (at least) as prescribed; but if, after a dower is prescribed, agree Mutually (to vary it), there is no blame on you, and Allah is All-knowing, All-wise.”
PICKTHAL: “And all married women (are forbidden unto you) save those (captives) whom your right hands possess. It is a decree of Allah for you. Lawful unto you are all beyond those mentioned, so that ye seek them with your wealth in honest wedlock, not debauchery. And those of whom ye seek content (by marrying them), give unto them their portions as a duty. And there is no sin for you in what ye do by mutual agreement after the duty (hath been done). Lo! Allah is ever Knower, Wise.”
SHAKIR: “And all married women except those whom your right hands possess (this is) Allah’s ordinance to you, and lawful for you are (all women) besides those, provided that you seek (them) with your property, taking (them) in marriage not committing fornication. Then as to those whom you profit by, give them their dowries as appointed; and there is no blame on you about what you mutually agree after what is appointed; surely Allah is Knowing, Wise.”
You can’t have sex with married women, unless they are slaves obtained in war (with whom you may rape or do whatever you like).
4:3 “Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice.”
4:25 “If any of you have not the means wherewith to wed free believing women, they may wed believing girls from among those whom your right hands possess.”
“Whom your right hand possess” is one of the most evil diabolical set of words ever written in any text. God has written in quite clear language that a Muslim can own another human being. Read the words: “your right hand possess” truly only Allah (the AntiGod) could conceive of such a wording. Slavery equated to – your right hand. Truly ingenious. Truly Allah. Not a God of Moral Perfection. It’s impossible for any reasonable person to conceive of a God that permits slavery. A God that not only permitted slavery but allowed as a holy duty the sheer horror of unlimited raping of women. In all human history – in all human thinking – there has never been a more vile institution ever created than slavery. 120 million blacks were murdered by Islam in the slave trade – truly one of the greatest holocausts in history. Black male slaves were castrated by their Muslim overlords to ensure that they would not breed. Many died after castration.
However, slavery in Islam applies not only to blacks but to ALL kafirs. Millions of Europeans were enslaved by Muslims. “Whom your right hand possess” is so evil as to be unspeakable. These words are not Moral Perfection but immoral imperfection. Islam is the greatest criminal ideology in history. God as a slave trader profiting on 20% of the profits earned from breeding and selling human beings. How can 1.2 billion people believe in such craziness? Unfortunately, they do and the number is growing daily.
Sura 23 (The Believers), Verses 1-6
23.1-6: “Successful indeed are the believers, Who are humble in their prayers, And who keep aloof from what is vain, And who are givers of poor-rate, And who guard their private parts, Except before their mates or those whom their right hands possess, for they surely are not blameable.”
This is the Sura which gives the slave owner the right of sexual access to his female slaves. The term “guarding the private parts” is a synonym for sexual intercourse.
The Quran not only allows slavery and sex with captured women and slave girls, it says God may even pardon those who forced their slave girls to sell their bodies.
Quran 24.33: “Force not your slave-girls to whoredom that ye may seek enjoyment of the life of the world, if they would preserve their chastity. And if one force them, then (unto them), after their compulsion, lo! Allah will be Forgiving, Merciful.s said that this is not blameable if indulges with wives and slaves.”
Sura 70 (The Ways of Ascent) verses 29-35
70: 29-35 “And those who guard their private parts, Except in the case of their wives or those whom their right hands possess — for these surely are not to be blamed, But he who seeks to go beyond this, these it is that go beyond the limits — And those who are faithful to their trusts and their covenant And those who are upright in their testimonies, And those who keep a guard on their prayer, Those shall be in gardens, honored.”
These verses give the right to slave owners to have sexual relation with female slaves.
70:22-30: “Not so the worshippers, who are steadfast in prayer, who set aside a due portion of their wealth for the beggar and for the deprived, who truly believe in the Day of Reckoning and dread the punishment of their Lord (for none is secure from the punishment of their Lord); who restrain their carnal desire (save with their wives and their slave girls, for these are lawful to them: he that lusts after other than these is a transgressor…” This verse shows that Muslim men were allowed to have sex with their wives (of course) and their slave girls.
Muhammad can go beyond the four-wife restriction, can treat his own wives and sex slaves unequally.
33:50-52 “O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom God has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts, and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts, who migrated (from Makka) with thee; and any believing woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her;- this only for thee, and not for the Believers (at large); We know what We have appointed for them as to their wives and the captives whom their right hands possess;- in order that there should be no difficulty for thee. And God is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful. Thou mayest defer (the turn of) any of them that thou pleasest, and thou mayest receive any thou pleasest: and there is no blame on thee if thou invite one whose (turn) thou hadst set aside. This were nigher to the cooling of their eyes, the prevention of their grief, and their satisfaction – that of all of them – with that which thou hast to give them: and God knows (all) that is in your hearts: and God is All-Knowing, Most Forbearing. It is not lawful for thee (to marry more) women after this, nor to change them for (other) wives, even though their beauty attract thee, except any thy right hand should possess (as handmaidens): and God doth watch over all things.”
This verse 33:50-52 is for Muhammad. God allows Muhammad to own and rape his slave girls.
The above verses are only a few out of numerous such verses scattered throughout the Quran. What could be more unethical than owning slaves and raping slave girls? God graciously allowed Muslims to own and rape slave girls. prophet Muhammad himself and his disciples routinely raped their slave girls. Muslim men were permitted unlimited raping of their slaves and even gang rape. Sex slaves were one of the main factors in the spread of Islam. This is the evil that is Islam.
Islam is a morally bankrupt and unethical ideology. Repeating, the reality of Islam previously discussed in this work – slavery, raping slave girls, owning slaves, murdering kafirs, killing apostates of Islam, selling boys and women as trophies of war, looting and pillaging the property of murdered kafirs, sharing the booty obtained from the sale of boys and women and the proceeds of looting with God – Himself, the subjugation and beating of women, martyrdom for those who kill and are killed for God, a depraved Paradise filled with virgins who re – generate as virgins after sex as the sex slaves of the killers of Islam – these are just some samples of utterly unethical and evil teachings in the Quran.
Can you tell us if you find some man in any civilized country who owned slaves let alone raping slaves, what will be your conclusion about that guy? Can you tell us how a man who Muslims claim was the apostle of God – the prophet of peace – was authorized by God – to own and rape slaves – a God who created evil laws that allowed the ownership of slaves, their purchase and sale, and their sexual abuse?
Islam codifies and legalizes the diabolical evil of rape. God and his messenger Muhammad not only endorsed the institution of slavery but also the raping and sexual molestation of female slaves. The very proposition that God would make rape a divine, holy act and have as his prophet a man who raped, allowed his male followers to attack their female captives is simply outrageous. Where is the outrage?
Muhammad lived the Quran to the letter. Being a holy man, a symbol of perfection for all mankind, Muhammad obeyed the teachings of Allah (the AntiGod). Rape is Sunna – following the ideal behavior of Muhammad. After their battles, the jihadists partook in the pleasure of raping the wives and daughters of the conquered men. There is a total correlation between the Quran and the hadith recording Muhammad acts. One is the mirror image of the other.
Read in book the hadiths describing the Massacre of Kaibyr show that the prophet of Islam and other jihadis used to capture women in raids and had sex with them (raping of helpless captives) and sold the ones they did not want as sex slaves into the dungeon of horrors that is slavery where they would become the sex slaves of their new Muslim master.
Muhammad has set many evil examples like marrying even grand daughter like 9 year old girl, drinking camel urine, having anal sex with animals and boys, murdered thousands of innocents.

Yes I do believe The Quran was revealed to us by God because all the verses that I have read till now and researched unbiased interpretation of them it can only have been come from God Himself, It simplifies our complicated lives and is above everything that humans could only imagine to think, say or do. You have read only a part of Koran, but we have read every line of it. Your Allah have said “9:5 When the sacred months (like Muharram) are over kill the idolaters whenever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them”, tell us how many unbelievers (Hindus) did you killed after last Muharram?
