Hi im praveena.am married and i know about islam and i would like to convert into islam.but the problem is my husband.he is not ready to convert into islam and not letting myself too.i highly trust in islam and wants to convert.and im trying for this for the past two years.but im unable to.can you please help me or give me some suggestions that how to convince my husband to convert?? -Praveena

Sahi Bukhari: #564: Syed ibne ukair..Aisha (ra) narrated that wife of Rifakurzi told to the apostle of God that (because) my husband Rifa has divorced me I married another man named Abdur rahman ibne kurzi but I want to go back to my former husband. Then Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) told—if you want to go back to your former husband you must have sex with Abdur Rahman and then if he divorce you then you can go to your former husband, otherwise it can not happen.
These Quranic verse and sahi hadith are totally unethical. After reading the above holy verse#2:230—any elementary student will agree with that, Qur’an and Hadith strongly and clearly commands Hilla marriage to purify the divorced wife to be taken back by the former husband. The irony is, how can this Hilla marriage do the purification of an innocent divorced wife? Who is at fault, in the first place, in this scenario of a hasty divorce? Quite obviously it was the husband who had made the mistake. Then, why in the world poor wife has to be punished (sleep with another strange man) for the crime she did not commit? Because – merciful Allah said so in the Holy Qur’an, Period. What a compassionate judgment from our Merciful Allah!

You must know that THE KORAN IS A BOOK OF WAR

Now, question is: does the Quran contain such verses which can easily inspire/incite devout Muslims to kill people with impunity? In fact, Quran is replete with such horrifically inciting dictums throughout the pages of Quran. The Quran repeatedly promised celestial handsome rewards for those who can kill kaffirs (enemy of Allah and His messenger) and dreadful punishing hellfire for those who refuse to kill kaffirs. The Quran also incites followers to sacrifice their lives in order to kill kaffirs in exchange for a much better and lucrative after life. Quran-4:95- Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons (sacrifice both life and wealth) than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward.
Quran-3:169-: Think not of those who are slain in Allah’s way as dead. Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord; (Here Allah is saying that those jihadi who dies [commit suicide] is not dead but he will be living with Allah).
Now, I do not believe that anybody can have slightest doubt that the above clear invitations (from Allah) for the ardent fanatical believers can very easily convince the blind pukka (pure) Muslims to become a time-bomb (suicidal) in order to kill infidels/kaffirs—for the cause of Allah!
The above verses (9:111; 3:169; 4:74; 4:95) are clearly ordering devout Muslims “to kill and be killed”; that is, Allah is teaching Muslims to sacrifice their own lives (to commit suicide) in His cause (Allah’s cause) in order to kill infidels (enemy of Allah).
This single verse (9:111) very precisely justifies suicide bombing—the most lethal, most terrifying, most inhuman and most successful weapon majority Islamic terrorists are using today to kill Allah’s enemies. It is the perfect example (without any ambiguity) of the suicidal method Allah has prescribed for devout Muslims. In the verse above (9:111) Islamic Allah clearly saying that: He (Allah) purchased life and property of believers in exchange of lustful and unimaginable lucrative heavenly pleasures for those who will die (commit suicide) for the cause (killing kaffirs) of Allah. After this, Muslims (ardent followers of the Quran) do not need any more killing instructions for their motivation to kill kaffirs/infidels. For good reason we can sum up that the Islamic God (Allah) is the most dangerous deity having unlimited vengeful, cruel, intolerant, intimidating and war-loving blood thirsty divine entity.

I have read your post. It is nice that you want to convert to Islam. But first of all let me say something to you. Just go back around 4000 years ago (in your imagination), and just imagine what would have been the religion at that time (much before Islam & Chirst). Let me tell you…it was Sanatan Dharma (Hinduism). Most of the people used to follow this religion, and offcourse some were atheist. At that time from India to Middle east to some parts of europe were under Samrat Vikramadiyta. He was a staunch follower of Lord Shiva. But as you know some evils are associated with every religion of this world, Hindusim had also some evils associated with it. The main vedas, shastras & Upnashiads etc were under the Preist (Brahmins), and they were egoistic and did not want to dissimilate this knowledge to anyone, specially the lower caste. Later some people of this community intermingled with lower caste people by way of marraige etc, and thrown out of their community, and later they formed their own path or religions. What is Religion? it is a set of rules which binds you to follow in order to remain in a society, that’s it. It gives you knowledge about GOD or the Supreme being, by the grace of whom we came to see this world. Now let’s imagine the scenario of India….earlier before Independence there were mainly one party…that was Indian National Congress..later on some dissidents were thrown out of this party, who later formed their own party…example Mamata Banerjee who had formed TMC, now these newly formed parties begun to challenge the main party i.e Congress. Just see the last election Congress got less seats than TMC. Putting this principle into religion….I can say the same things have had happened around 4000 years ago. Today the newly founded religions like Islam, Christianity etc had their roots in Sanatan Dharma. If you search google you can get lot of similarity with Sanatan Dharma. Like just see “OM” and make it slant it looks like Arabic Allah (with some little difference), Google “ Swastik symbol in Muslim Countries” you will find our most revered swastika symbol were being used by them in their mosques in Iran, even in Mecca –Clock Tower. All this proves that they belonged to the Sanatan Dharma once, but later they floated their own religion either because of political reasons or some other reasons. Example 2- suppose a hindu girl marries a muslim boy, and get herself separated from her family, what she would do? She cannot return to her hindu parents anymore, therefore she would have to remain happy with her husband and her newly adopted religion, and later she would also raise her children in this religion, but can she deny her root? NO…..so my point is why to adopt a religion which is merely a sub- branch of the main religion? Just because you liked it? If it is so, then please go ahead and contact any Islamic Organizations who can help you out. And you are old enough to take any decisions which might suit you.
To support my logic I will give you some examples: You can come across the name Abraham/Ibrahim in the religious books of Christ/Islam/Jews- just google…..Now who is this Abraham…just see…ABRAHAM–>A-BRAHMA–> BRAHMIN.. So thousands of years ago some dissidents of Brahmins only got themselves separated from the main religion and floated their own religion. Next..what was the religion of Prophet Mohammad before he started preachng ISLAM? do you have any idea? if you have belief in islam you should start practising it , let see what your husband or family say about this before preaching to others you should bring it practice to in your own life , may be seeing you their perception can change

First, tell us what is your husband’s reservation converting to Islam? What is he saying?
Tell us what you liked about Islam that you did not find in Buddhism or Christianity? Have you read Koran? Have you read life story of Muhammad? Did you compared Muhammad and Jesus’ lives? How did you (or from where) learn of Islam?
Do you know after conversion to Islam, you cannot revert back to any other faith, it is an irreversible process (severe punishment for apostasy (like stoned to death)!)? For this reason, we recommend to do thorough reading. First, let us know some of questions raised.
