hi,
its me nilanjana.. I am a hindu girl.. Born and brought up in a hindu family.. But now when i am 22years old, i can’t accept my religion.. I feel, i haven’t own identity.. Thats why i want to be a chistian to creat my own identity.
I do not like Hinduism any more because…
1. Our pandits create some stupid bio data about our whole life, which is called kusti. And they rule our life on behalf of it.
2. Now the one of the pandits control my parent mind, and my parent forced me to become a married person.
3. Over all now i feel it is not a religious, it’s a lots of loads on my head.
I do like Christianity….
1. I can worship freely, without fear of violence or threats.
2. I feel so much peace in my heart, when i go to the church.
3. When i was in trouble, i feel, Jesus was there behind me, who suggest me, how can i come out of it, and he says that i am always there behind you, like your parent or best friend, or any one you need most.
At last i just want to say if you ask me why i like Christianity? My ans is I LOVE JESUS/CHRISTIANITY.

The church priests are just like your pandits, no difference. Why you want to get trapped into a religious institution and priests/pandits? Remain free to worship who ever you wish; be that Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, Allah and what not? Make sense?
Now you said, “I can worship freely, without fear of violence or threats”. If this is your objective, then Christianity is not the place. Christian God is described as a “Jealous God” 31 times, as an “Angry God” 238 times and “fear” word is used 455 times in the Bible. So, follow Jesus and all, but never get baptized and get trapped into one particular church. Remain like a free bird, don’t get caged!

We understand if you are looking for your religious identity. As an adult, yes, you should reevaluate your faith and pick the right one. To help you, can you tell us three points that you did not like about Hinduism and three points that you liked about Christianity? Did you explored Buddhism and Islam?
I would have thrown some light on it but i can`t as you are a hindu and wants to be christian and as i m a muslim so ………
