As i informed you above, i love Islam not because Muslim guys are handsome and well educated intelligent, i love Islam coz it is true way to life. as Hindu holy scriptures also talk about Islam and final prophet. when we know that Islam is a true religion of God.
3 years back i got married, but i reverted to Islam almost 9 years ago alhumdulillah.
i reverted when i was doing my engineering . i was staying in Muslims pg as it was near to my college, their i met a Muslim woman who is very well educated and religious. she was very good woman, she was not at all saying lie. i was watching her praying. one day i asked her what is Islam. she explained me. day by day i became closed to her. i was very short tempered person but whenever i used get angry she used to say about our beloved prophet Mohammed pbuh story, by hearing his story my angry was reducing. so gradually i attracted towards Islam, i used to ask her about Islamic story. i took one year to know and understand Islam. and one fine beautiful day after my 3rd semester exam i asked her to teach me to do salah which is one of the pillar of Islam. alumdulillah this is how i started to love Islam. when i learnt to do salah i was in a peak of my happiness. that day was the happiest day of my life. but….
my family was orthodox Hindu family. somehow my parents came to know about my new life. they asked me no to do and all. i said i will not come home if you guys force me in this matter. my mother said that she will kill herself and dad said he will give police complaint and he will inform bajarangadal, and hindusane and all. but i was worried due their statements. so when i asked my Muslim friend she said if you leave Allah for this worldly life what will you do when you reach your home and your parents are dead?. you will be alone. neither Allah nor your parents will be by your side. that time i decided for me Allah is far more important than anyone else in this world. if Allah is with me whole world is with me, if Allah is not with me, i will be alone even though whole world is by my side. what i will do with this worldly life?
if i have some pain no one can take my pain but Allah will take my pain. he is near to me than my jugular vein. without Allah i am nothing.
Hindu scripture says do not worship idol. images, worship only one God, same thing Quran says. then y people are worshiping idol? it means they are not following their holy scripture.
anyhow may Almighty Allah show them a right path,
so after my engineering without informing i left India and came to gulf and started to work. and never went back for 3 years.
but i have changed my name in passport due to change of name. and in my visa my pic is with hijab so now whenever i come to India i face problem in Airport with their nonsense question. so i decided not to come to India anymore
India is an independent country but there is no freedom for a person to choose his/her life the way they want to live.
all job less people are in bajarangdal and RSS coz they does not have any other work than creating problem to Muslims. specially for reverted Muslims.
i have many reverted Muslim female friends who is from Gujarat and south India.
REALLY I AM BLESSED TO BE A MUSLIM.

You said Hindus create problems for you/Muslims, are you saying Muslims do not create troubles for those Muslims who decide to be a Hindu? For example, when Shakira Khan decided to be a Hindu, but now she is getting death threats. Is that fair? Momeen is now an atheist; can he dare to go in public with such news without getting death threats from other Muslims? Why there are death threats for apostasy? Why there is no liberty in Islam for an individual to pick his/her own faith/choice?
We agree every thing you said about God (Allah in Arabic). Are you saying Christians, Jews and Sikhs are not praying to God (Allah)? It may be our naïve view but we feel ALL are following God but Muslims are giving too much important (idolizing?) to one man, WHY?
Regarding idols, read our views here. Believe or not, other people see Muslims idolizing Kaaba, Christian to a wood-cross and Hindus to a Ganesh murti. As far we are concerned, no one is idolizing but praying to God by their own way. You are from Mumbai and know the significance of Ganesh Visharjan (departure). Hindus use a murti as a focus point to God. In the end, Hindus keep God in their heart and mind but get rid of the murti in ocean. Take home message, Hindus pray to God not the marble (or Muslim to Allah not the Black Cube and Christians to God and not to wood cross). Logical?
Do you believe you will most probably go to heaven while all Shia, Jains, Christians and your Hindu parents will most probably get Hell Fire on the Judgment Day?
A message to ALL parents:
It is wrong to treat your children like this “my mother said that she will kill herself and dad said he will give police complaint and he will inform bajarangadal”. This is very sad that parents are so irrational and outright stupid.
We always say that parents don’t “own” children; it is only … the child takes birth on this earth through a set of parents. Instead of forcing on children, parents should be truly respectful to child’s needs, even it mean allowing them to change faith.
If parents (any faith) have concern with the faith of their children, first they should truly follow their faith themselves. Also parents should install positive values from their faith/culture to their children starting from the first day. If they have done a good job of installing strong foundation, there should not be any threats from outsiders later.
When parents (any faith) hear that their son or daughter is in interfaith love relationship, in almost all cases, they act irrationally. It is time to change that (view).
Arshia, we hope you will support your daughters’ choices for their selection of friends, what and when to watch on TV/media, choice of wearing cloths the way they desire and follow the faith of their choice. God created women as the equal of men. The total equality of women with men is the very essence of the Moral Perfection of God. God is not a sexist. God is not a male chauvinist pig. Women and men are equal in the eyes of God. Women are the equal of men. Any teaching pertaining to be from God that degrades women, denigrates them in anyway, claims they are inferior to men in anyway, denies them their right to leave their homes without male supervision, their right to say no to their husbands sexual demands, treats them as property, allows their murder as honor killing or any other reason, forces them to cover themselves against their will, doesn’t allow them to wear whatever they want to wear on their face/bodies, allows their beating, allows their lashing/stoning, allows their sexual abuse/molestation, murders them for having non martial sex, murders them for committing adultery, forces them into marriage against their will, allows child girls to be raped under the fraud of marriage, allows women’s enslavement as sex slaves or slaves, allows their raping, allows sex without the woman’s full consent, denies them their right to sexual freedom, denies them their God given right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are not the teachings of a God of Moral Perfection but of evil man/men. Women are not valued by God as worth 50% of men. God did not create women to be the chattel or slaves of men. Again – Females have full rights in society before the law, under the rule of law, can dress any way they freely desire without fear of death, walk the streets without a male relative escort, do any occupation, have the right to vote, the full right to participate in the governance of any society, be the leader or member of government of any country, receive all educational rights, drive planes, trains, automobiles, fly to the stars, choose their own husbands, refuse to accept arranged, forced or child marriages etc. No man, whether husband, father, brother, relative, boyfriend, government official or stranger has the right to beat or mistreat a woman. Men who beat women are the lowest of the low. No woman should be forced to endure female circumcision. The equal rights of women in society to complete educational, economic, legal, and political equality – are very important. There is absolutely no way the West would be enjoying its modern prosperity without the full and equal participation of women. Repeating – All teachings of the oppression, subjugation and inferiority of women in any holy book/text/teaching are not the word/teachings of God but the word/teachings of evil man/men. If God is a sexist, a male chauvinist pig then God is no longer Moral Perfection and therefore, no longer God. Sunni commentator Ibn Kathir explained that “believers that fear for their safety from the unbelievers… are allowed to show friendship to the unbelievers outwardly, but never inwardly”.
