Hai Pavithra, i appreciate your thought. Even though i want to congratulate for your great thought. I got married recently to a guy who has Islamic faith. Now his family is asking me to convert into their religion otherwise they will not accept us. Actually they are offering that they would give all the financial and other support only after i convert to Muslim, otherwise complete big NO. I don’t know what kind of love is that. They are saying that if someone in their religion is marrying from an another religion by not converting into them, the religious authorities (Leading people of their religion, Mosque) will ban the whole family from mosque, and they will not give the permission for kabar inside the area of mosque after death, because god is not permitting it. What kind of rule is that?
If a person is good in his behaviour and action, and the god will reject him only for marrying a girl from other religion? And if a person is a criminal who belongs to their religion, will the same god allow their kabar as per their rules? So, what it means? Believing in their religion blindly is important not to being a good human? Anyways, I would like to ask that who made the religious diversion? Do we have any evidence? We all know only some stories and books. Ok fine. If it is there, may be it was made to instruct everyone to follow a good lifestyles, morals. But every story has a good thing and bad thing, and we have the responsibility to identify it and think rationally on it before believing it blindly.
Pavithra, as like you, I don’t have good knowledge on Quran and other holy books. But the only thing I believe that there is one GOD. I don’t think GOD have a partiality in giving blessings only on the basis of religion. I wish for the day the man breaks the walls of religions and recognizes the real truth of god, and see all humans equally. Thanks for your thoughts -Pavithra.

Thank you for sharing your life story and beautiful thinking. We absolutely agree to you. They are buying you to convert to Islam? Money for conversion? And if you don’t convert, they will loose a space in the grave kabar? Is this what God wants them to do, i.e. to pay money and convert people and go to grave of most intolerant Mosque? What a shame for this man-made religions.
Now tell us if your husband is also pressuring you to convert? What his thinking? Do you need money from your in-laws?
