What is wrong if the actor in this clipping, Imran Khan (or Susanne), converts to the intended spouse’s faith just for marriage, as long as allowed practicing his or her own faith after the marriage? Is religious conversion (the BBS) a hollow ritual devoid of any meaning or consequences? As per the Shahadah oath to convert to Islam for Nikaah (marriage), Susanne has to accept and declare that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his apostle. Further, she has to acknowledge that associating others (like Jesus) with Allah is the greatest of all sins. Similarly, baptism of the Khan before a church wedding means conversion to Christianity and a commitment to repudiate former practices (of Islam) and to live with Christ forever. Unless the intention is to be a liar, one must decide what is the intention? Express your views on how Imran-Susanne should marry and raise children if they decide to stay in Pakistan?

I just want you people to know… In Islam there is no such thing as intermission.. You either become muslim or non-muslim… If you acknowladge antoher you religion, just by acknowlagding, no need for baptizing, announcing or whatever, you have left the Islam (apostasized).. you have to make shahadah to be a muslim again.. If not you will suffer eternal Hell-fire just like other non-belivers… So if a muslim woman marries a non-muslim, automatically she becomes a non-muslim. A muslim man can marry a woman from the Abrahamic religions, as Christinaty and Judaism, but it is not adviced if the husband can’t make sure that his wife’s religion will effect the kids. A muslim man is not allowed to get married to a woman that belives in another religion than Christianity or Judaism, if he does he becomes a non-muslim according to Islam. So all this talk about half-muslim half-somthing else does’nt apply on Islam… I think this wrong information that is given by the media is disturbing.. If some muslims knew they would have thought one more time before they think about a lover with another faith… Because they risk losing their own faith for another..

Yesterday, I watched a classic bangla movie ” ANAND ASHRAM”. Sharmila tagore was a christian girl, keeping the Hindu Name ” Asha”. Uttam Kumar, a Brahmin , son a Jamindar , falles in love with Sharmila, as her father died, and she remain without any support, just in the name of support and dignity, Uttam kumar got married with her against the consent of his father. He left his home and settled some somewhere else. their marriage was also solemnized as per vedic /hindu customes. But nowhere , it was shown that Sharmila tagore got converted to Hinduism. Because as per hindu marriage act, both bride and groom should be hindu.
After marriage , sharmila was never accepted in family of uttam kumar. As converted Christians were considered sinner and untouchable . Sharmila died during bearing child. She was cremated according to hindu customs, her grave was also build in home, but instead of cross, there was “OHM” inscribed on grave. Nowhere , the negative effect of such inter-faith marriage was shown. Christian was shown downtrodden and hindu was shown suppressor or perpetrator . All are requested to watch this movie then analyze the situation .why there was one sided analysis?
In another movie, AJAB PREM KI GAJAB KAHANI. HERO started eating non-veg, just to impress his Christian girl friend , boy was Brahmin. At last their marriage solemnized in registrar office. Customary marriage was not shown.
In “AGNEEPATH” (AMITABH BACHCHAN) got married with Christian nurse, who after marriage started wearing virmillion and bindi as hinu bride looks. There also negative effect of hindu-christian marriage was shown.
What is the actual reality ? most of us know. Why media portray a different picture?

I think they will have, because if he accepts easily and subordinates his religion to that marriage. Afterall, i would recommend all bollywood muslim stars to try with their utmost efforts matching their behavioral life with the Islamic guidelines.
