African American/Iranian in love with a Muslim Egyptian girl

Hello guys. I’m coming here to ask what should I do?

I’m a african american/iranian guy who is in love with a muslim Egyptian girl. No joke. Weird combinations huh? But seriously I’m not sure. I’m not muslim and I take pity on muslim women who have to lead a very restricted life. Myself 37 yrs and she 27 yrs. both working in different companies but dating regularly. She is so beautfiful and charming that I donot want to loose her. I’m just not into any existing religion. Ya know I’m very spirtual but I take some things from all religions (excluding Mohammad).

Anyway what should I do. Her mom seems very convinced I’m worthy but her dad seems a little unsure because I think he believes all I want is sex. Which I’m not that kind of guy. So how should I convence him? -Mcmilan.

You both are mature. We assume you are in the West. Further, it appears that her Mother is okay and father is not too sure. Just be more in touch with her parents and slowly win their hearts. Is the girl ready to accept you for life? If yes, go for it.

You are basically a pluralist by saying by saying “I take some things from all religions”. We understand if you believe in God, but not a specific apostle. So, you do not have problem with the first part of Shahadah (there is no god but Allah) but with the second part of it (and Prophet Muhammad is the messenger of Allah). Ask the girl to read all that is said on Islamic Women Today and she will come to terms with you soon. Marry without Islamic Shahadah conversion to Islam. Plan to raise children in all/both faiths without Baptism or sunat to label children with a particular faith. Best wishes. -Admin
