I love a Jain boy but he is ignoring me because his mom can’t agree for our marriage because I’m non-jain, but now he said that his family is more important. He had promised me for 2yrs time to convince his mom. So what can I do now shall I wait for his mom to change her mind? We have seen this as a very common problem with boys. They are like a lion when in front of their lover girl but becomes like a goat in front of their parents. Now you have to think positive. It is good you found out truth sooner than later for what he is truly like. What would you do if after marriage, he will make you dance at his mother’s tunes? He could make your married life miserable. We recommend to meet him in person, one-to-man and discuss out up front what he wants to do. If he wants to break up, there is nothing much you can do (and you should not cry for it). Life is long and there is someone better waiting for you. Best wishes.
