Hye admin, me and my bf (Islam) are planning to marry in Singapore as we are both holding a work permit.
Pls advise how can we marry here in Singapore and get marry in Malaysia without converting to Islam. -Angel

The Muslim MyKad has Islam written on it. When you want to register your marriage in Malaysia or have children be Malaysian citizen, they will ask for the MyKad. Once the official sees the Islam written on it, he/she will not approve the application of marriage.
Can you plan to stay in Singapore for life? Can you move to any other country?
Do not fake convert to Islam for marriage. Once you have “Islam” written on your MyKad, it is impossible to remove that for your this life and also all your future generations. Giving up Islam has severe punishments. Don’t fake convert.
