We will help you out step wise, don’t worry. You are in good hands.

The first marriage count for legal reasons, so you are in good shape because it was done by civil wedding. However, if you baptized or signed any agreement with the church (most likely), that will be critical to know.

For divorce, if two parties are cooperative, it could go smoothly. However, if any one party decide to play hardball, nothing much you can do. However, ultimately, you will get divorce. Rome was not built in a day, you will have to have patience.

Know saam, daam, dand and bhed (do you know what it means?). You have to play smartly to deal with her. Do not feel her that “I really want to come out of this soon as it’s spoiling Mt career health and affecting mentally too” and “As I wanted to settled down with other girl asap.” If she learn that you have another option, out of jealously, she will drag this for ever. Instead, explain her that bitter divorce means rich lawyer and poor divorcees.

Very first, work on “My career health and affecting mentally too.” This is not an end to the life. Be being depressed will not speed the process. Like Buddha said “Pain is mandatory, suffering is optional.” You MUST go through pain, but make a point of not suffering a bit. Remember, good days are ahead.

Talk to a divorce lawyer. Make a case based on non-comparability based on “Hindu, Catholic, And fact is that she is still virgin (proof?). we decided to have mutual divorce and filled petition in 2013 (do you have documents?). she wants to keep children in her religion (that was not your agreement before marriage, if true)”

      Get back.

How did you got married? If in a church, did you signed any pre-nap agreement with the church? Where you baptized? How did you register your marriage with the Indian government?
