If You are in LOVE, Just GO for it!

Dude, are you serious? If you (Hindu girl) want to marry (to a Muslim) then go ahead and do it, why are you taking permission? The main question here is, are you truly in love with him? Will he pay back with same love you desire of him? It is your life, your choice, you are bound to nobody.

Your mom, dad will get convinced within time, you can not do it within one week, give them time to adjust.

Me and my boyfriend is dating for two years, and all my friend circle as well as my mom, dad knows it ?

Remember, your life, your choice, your life does not belongs to anyone else, good luck. -Shona

LMAO,thanks a ton for making me famous ?

No no my status is completely different from these people. Both of our mom dad aware of our relation. I have never faced a problem.

I am a human, i am in love with another human, period.

Actually both of us have interfaith blood, i am quarter Muslim from my grandpa, my grandma came to India from Sweden after divorce with my dad. And my boyfriend is half Hindu from his mom.

We are so close i call aunty mom for fun ?

My grandpa was Swedish Indian. My to be in law family is settled in Sweden. We will have typical Western style marriage and will live there.

Our guardians know about our relationship from very beginning, so we do not have to worry ?

I wish all the best for the people here.

      Hi Sona,
You have completely a secular and pluralist background. Your Muslim side of families do not literally believe in the Koran (read here) and your Hindus families are open minded to marry Muslims. Further, you will settle in Sweden and not in India. This situation is not universal, actually very rare.

Your views on Hindu-Muslim marriages may not be applicable to other families having never been in any interfaith relationships for 1000 generations (Rekha may be the same case). For a common people, to live in India and survive Muslim-Hindu marriage is like climbing Mt. Everest; do you agree?

You will have “typical western style marriage” while Rekha will have to go through a Nikaah (and not a Hindu wedding). Nikaah means conversion, name change, change of culture and completely different eating habit. We recommended her to follow your footsteps by having a civil wedding and thus get an insurance against a love-Jihadi. Tell us if love is important or love-of-converting the lover is important?

    Hi Sona,

We have changed your name for your privacy, we hope that is okay with you.

You have given a great message. We assume you are in Hindu-Muslim love relationship, is that true? Like Rekha, do you have the same issue–one being middle class and another rich? When you are ready, are you going to have a Hindu wedding, Islamic Nikaah, the Special Marriage Act 1954 marriage or all of them?
