I and my love (sikh girl) met in our school and now i’m in college and we’re still together unfortunatel her family don’t like and i feel really bad about it ? . We want to marry but we are too young to marry each other #19 and 18 . His father warns me many time but its not my fault that i love her and she love me too . We’re together since 2015 it alomost going to be 3rd year after 1/4 yr . I am not really religious i’m an open minded boy i don’t think these days religion is not for peace and love according to our country peeps religion is used for beat someone up like everyone is doing nowdays ah so irritating . If i and my love success in our marriage dream i’m not going live in this country . Coz country is heaven but people is like hell #remain peaceful

When you say, “I am not really religious i’m an open minded boy”, does it mean you will go against your Koran (2:221) and not convert that Sikh girl into Muslim? Do you have guts to go against your parents for not converting her? Running away to another country is not going to solve this problem.
Yes i’m not gonna covert her religion as i love her madly i can’t live my rest of life without her and dreaming what might have been . It is real and now and forever i love her and i can stand for my love against my religion .. i’m gonna fight with the world for her because she gave me a rebirth ? let me ask you something did u ever feel love and a flame to do something for a person you love ? Just answer my question . I wiil work for my love and i’ll be successful man and then have that much power to fight against the world !

We love your strategy and ideologies, keep it up. We understand your true love but wish to remind you that the world is rigid and different than what you wish for. You will face tremendous pressure and it is almost impossible for a Muslim to “i’m not gonna covert her (a Sikh)” because Islam is an exclusivist religion. Have you read Koran? View Sharia that you will end up following.
If you think we are wrong, go ask your parents/relatives “what if” questions. Ask them if you (or your sister) have to marry a Hindu (for example), how can you (your sister) marry your love without Shahadah (conversion). Ask your imams if they will perform Islamic Nikaah without Shahadah (we still have to find one!)? Do this homework and lets talk again when you learn of facts. Lets talk more over years right here.
