I am not in love with any guy nor have any muslim friends. But after going through the Islamic websites and Koran(got it from a good well-wisher who is a muslim but has never asked me to convert or she has never degraded my religion) I feel like embracing Islam. I think I’ll feel safe. Can a woman or man of age 29 convert to Islam out of their own wish and should we have any approval from our family members? -Regina

Hi Regina,
Direct answer to your question is YES. You do not need any approval from any one.
We are glad you reached out to us. We talk about different faiths all times. Know one thing that every coins have two sides. The Islamic sites may tell you one sided stories but, if you were smart, you should look at the other side of coin. There are plenty of other sites that will tell you exactly the other wise.
Tell us how many religions you have explored? Have you check Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, Jainism, Hinduism, atheism…? Are you going to be a Sunni Muslim, Shia Muslim, Ahmadia Muslim, …? Tell us why you picked a particular type of religion over many many other options you have? Lets talk more. Get back to us. –Admin

Well, since you asked. I have already explored buddhism, hinduism and i already know a lot about christianity. The question is why.?? answer is simple. In a muslim world, women are asked to wear a purhdah, which many consider a taboo in the western world and it takes away the freedom of women. But in my view, its safe. So that a woman can feel safe to walk around from the prying eyes of men who look at women as a tool of pleasure rather a human. Most importantly. For men, its safe to say that their wife will not commit adultery as its a punishable offense under sharia law. Most importantly I can see respect in Islam. –Regina

I am a regular visitor of this site and read all ur suggestions carefully. I appreciate ur knowledge and unbiased advices. Now lets talk abt this Regina case she says “she feels safe and secure in burqua” I feel like lauging. I think there are around 23% muslims in the whole world. Out of this 23% I hv seen lot od muslim women dont wear burqua. May be around 10-12% of muslim women wear burqua . In some of western countries burqua is banned otherwise also we hardly see educated mjuslim women /working women wear burqua. So does regina think that a women is only safe in burqua. Now as admin said the poother coin of Islaam. Lets talk abt todays world Muslims are the big enemy of muslims and killing each other. Dont they follow islam. We hav to look Islam was born on war killings and hatred . A women is treated as slave there is no place of polygamy in any religeon other than Islam no tripple talak in any religion . means in Islam the place of women is like a sex toy and chiold producing machine . In India I find lot of muslims are embracing hinduism only coz of its flexibility and importance to women and every creature . But over alll its the persons choice . If regina like the life of a house wife who is just to manage her house and produce babies for her hysband. An when ever she becomes old or not attractive 3 talak is there and marry 4 wives produce 40 kids like pigs This is Islam . Regina ji if U r progressive educated, dont want to be just a sex toy / house wife and confined to ur hubby and his family think 1000 times . I hv not studied Islam or Bible but what i see in practice and experience from the surrounding Have expressed my views. I hv 2 questions 1. Why muslim community is most poor in the world, 2. why muslim community is most ileterate compared to other communities. How many famous scholors/scientists/thinkers are born who follow Islam . Yes the big achievemewnt is ISIS which strictly follow Islam. U r free to choose its ur life God bless watch this link.http://www.ibtimes.com/surprise-surprise-muslims-are-indias-poorest-worst-educated-religious-group-1392849
Dear Regina,
My opinion regarding converting to other religion is straight forward – just gather the relevant information about the new and the present religions and compare them side by side in every aspect of life such as social, physical, ethical spiritual etc. Apply the above mentioned aspects in a historical perspective for a long period. Also see what the honest critics have to say. Then, ponder for a while. This will give you a better understanding. Take enough time without rushing all at once. Meet different people belonging to both religions and discuss the those points that are important for you. Once you have done your due diligence so that you will not have to repent or revert to the original religion in the future. Initially, new religion may seem so attractive due to its newness or due to the charisma of the introducer but what we miss is the obvious good things existing in the present religion. For example, would you love to be beaten by your husband or live with your co wives which is still practiced in Islam and is allowed by Sharia? Will you also love to go outside your house only with an adult male even though in emergency?
Next step will be deciding which subgroup of Islam you will joining to as there ar 73 subgroups, each with its own practices and belief system. Differences are so much so that each of them considers itself true Islam while considering other group as Unislamic!
Once, you have completed the above, repeat the process for other religions and compare them. Think about the above points if you consider them worth.
Hello admin
It’s been long since I texted here
Hope you remember me.
Kumar ( having Muslim gf Saba)
Sure, glad to hear from you. We are still waiting for “Admin, i would be inviting u , mac, ahmad, fi, kartar and momeen for my marriage. Hope u ppl shower me with blessings. –Kumar.” Any update in your personal life?
Regina,
Thank you for sharing your views. We love to interact with you. We do see some value in your argument for burka but we do not believe girls/women who keep their hair open flying in air are at risk of their safety or are not respected by their husband. Husband should not count on burka as a chastity belt for his wive; ideally real trust and love is all that a woman is looking for to be faithful to her man.
If you find a conservative Hindu asking you to put on a sari with full head cover (parda) and walk behind him, will that make you more secure?
As we said before, every coin has its two sides. You made your argument that burka as a respect for women in Islam. If so, please explain us these Koranic verses. 2:223, 2:228, 2:282, 4:3, 4:11, 4:15, 4:24, 4:34, 4:35, 24:4. We wait to hear from you.
