I am a Brahmin. I am in love with a Muslim Khan girl. We are from remote area. My parents are castiest but I am pursuing higher education so they want me to get married to a brahmin girl only. I will only marry the girl which I fell in love with 2 years ago. Her family is not orthodox Muslims like ours. I have met her mother several times. The only issue is that I want her to change her religion only because I think the religion she is following is a cult. She disagrees with me but I think she will change herself with time I will have teach her how to read Geeta.

Hi Kartik, generally Muslim family will want you, a Hindu, to convert to Islam. Her family never raised this point or concern? How are you going to get married? Hindu vivah, Muslim Nikaah or civil wedding only? What are girl’s views on Islam and Hinduism?
Hey Akash (*Add your new Arabic name*), Have you read a single verse from the Gita? Do you know what is the essence of Hinduism on monotheism and ‘making idols’? I suspect a big NO !
Bhagavad Gita deals with both personal mode of worship and impersonal mode of worship. First, Lord Krishna says the personal mode of worship is easier – so one can consider an idol of the Lord as representative of the Lord and worship that Idol as the Supreme Lord – important to note that the Lord is worshipped in the Idol form, not just the Idol.
Example given here is that of a rod that is put in fire and heated – when it becomes red hot, or even white hot, one cannot tell the difference between the rod and the fire. So, the Idol of the Supreme Lord is spiritualized in a similar way. Hindus worship the force behind the idols, and not the idols. A consecrated murthy (form) is a tool for bringing one pointed focus to the mind. That’s it.
Idol worship is neither mandatory nor prohibited in Hinduism. Puranas like Shrimad Bhagavatam itself mention the process of deity form worship of the God and what the idols can be made of:
śailī dāru-mayī lauhī lepyā lekhyā ca saikatī
mano-mayī maṇi-mayī pratimāṣṭa-vidhā smṛtā [SB – 11.27.12]
Meaning
The Deity form of the Lord is said to appear in eight varieties — stone, wood, metal, earth, paint, sand, the mind or jewels.
Bhagavat Gita says to worship by heart and devote yourself to the lord, whether it is via sambhuti or asambhuti. Sadly, you never studied Hinduism and got converted to Islam after your marriage to a Muslim women, and is now a practising Muslim. The ‘sad’ thing here is not that you left the Sanatan Dharm, but that you never even tried to know the essence and beauty of Hinduism in the first case.
‘Islam brings people back to Monotheism’, when did these unsourced people went far from monotheism? Hindus recognise one God, Brahman, the eternal origin who is the cause and foundation of all existence. The other gods of the Hindu faith, the TrimurtI, only represent different expressions of Supreme One God-The Brahman, which is the Creation, Preservation and ultimately, the Destruction. The philosophy which stands true for the existence of life and death, or samsara.
You also seem to quote a verse From Quran, (4:36) in your earlier arguments: “Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him’. Do you know what this word ‘ALLAH’, mean in first case? In case you don’t, this 5 lettered word ALLAH is nothing but translation of the word ‘God’ in Arabic. Arabic language (along with various ancienct Arabic dialects) was developed nearly 100 years ago before the birth of Prophet Muhammad, and this word ‘ALLAH’ was prosperously used among the tribes in the Pre-Islamic Arabia, whose religions included indigenous Arabian polytheism, ancient Semitic religions , Christianity, Judaism, and Iranian religions such as Zoroastrianism, Mithraism, and Manichaeism, even before the relevations done by Muhammad via Quran!
Just like ‘God’ translates to ‘Parmeshwar/Bhagwan’ in Sanskrit/Hindi and ‘Khuda’ in Urdu, it does the same as ‘ALLAH’ in Arabic.
In this following verse, it is said to worship ALLAH (=GOD=BHAGWAN) and to not associate anything with Him. The ‘association’ or ‘partners’ in this context mean the self claimed Godmen or the one who claims to be ‘God’, like those counterfeit ‘babas’. What ALLAH (God) is of Islam is the exact as PARMESHWAR (God) of Hinduism, and so on.
The perspect of reliance here is bound to your religious views. ALLAH is not distinct than PARMESHWAR/BHAGWAN or KHUDA, as the former and later both are the translation of the single word ‘God’. It is only the linguistical difference between Arabic and Sanskrit that distinguishes the both.
The phrase that some ignorant Muslims chant 100 times a day and even impose on others- ‘There is no God but Allah’, literally translates to ‘There is no God but God’, and I can’t stop cringing. Yes, I, and every theist on this Planet agrees that there is no God but God, why so much of claptrap?
