Islam: Half way is not possible

Excellent and honest advise by Fatimah here. If you are a Hindu in love relationship with a Muslim, there should not be any confusion for what is coming. Read more ….

Fatimah says: August 15, 2013 at 7:08 pm

I just want you people to know… In Islam there is no such thing as intermission..
• You either become muslim or are non-muslim…
• If you acknowladge another religion, just by acknowledging (no need for baptizing, announcing or whatever), you have left the Islam (apostasized)..
• you have to make shahadah to be a muslim again..
• If not you will suffer eternal Hell-fire just like other non-belivers…

• So if a muslim woman marries a non-muslim, automatically she becomes a non-muslim.
• A muslim man can marry a woman from the Abrahamic religions, as Christinaty and Judaism, but it is not adviced if the husband can’t make sure that his wife’s religion will effect the kids.
• A muslim man is not allowed to get married to a woman that belives in another religion than Christianity or Judaism, if he does he becomes a non-muslim according to Islam.

• So all this talk about half-muslim half-somthing else does’nt apply on Islam…

I think this wrong information that is given by the media is disturbing..

If some muslims knew they would have thought one more time before they think about a lover with another faith… Because they risk losing their own faith for another.. -Fatimah

When you say “moderate and tolerant muslims” I thought that maybe you thought my views were “radical”(no offense I am not sure). If anyone does some research you can find the ayahs hadiths and so on very easily. This is in the basic Islamic teachings and belief. No one who calls himself muslim can deny this. Even a moderate and tolerant one. Its in the belief. You dont belive it youre not a muslim. -Fathimah

    Hi there again,

Well Im am happy to be of some help to enlighten the islamic views of interfaith. I have read the comments to this post and to be honest did not really understand what people are talking about. To me it looks like a fight with cuss words and literally mocking each others religiond and its provoking and it makes me sad. This is not the way it is supposed to be i think.

And my other point is. My views are in the islamic fiqh as in islamic legal foundation. These are the rules have basis for the Quran, Hadith (sayings of the prophet) and are agreed by All ijma (consensus) of the leaders of Ehli Sunnah wal Jamaat (sunni islam-im sunni as the 90% of the muslims in the world. I dont know of the other muslim groups but that totally another story all together)-check it up in all the 4 school of faith. When you say “moderate and tolerant muslims” I thought that maybe you thought my views were “radical”(no offense I am not sure). If anyone does some research you can find the ayahs hadiths and so on very easily. This is in the basic Islamic teachings and belief. Noone who calls himself muslim can deny this. Even a moderate and tolerant one. Its in the belief. You dont belive it youre not a muslim.

Hope it helps you all to understand a little more on this subject.

TO EVERYONE AROUND HERE: please do research before talking. For example I havent yet criticized or commented on any other religion because Im simply afraid to say something totally wrong cause I haven’t researched about it yet. I hope you guys do the same.

    Stay happy 🙂

    Readers,

Despite so much hullabolo, all the aspirants must know the salient features of the religion your partner is following. Many people are angry against me because I am highlighting the points that are carefully kept secret due to vested interests. But you will have to get through the sugar coating to take informed decision. The best source to know any religion is your own research IN ADDITION TO YOUR BOY/GIRL FRIEND’s interpretation. This will also help you in judging whether your friend is honest to you. Those in a relationship with a Muslim can have the following queries regarding their religion:

I suggest a more authentic and easier way to know true Islam is by asking question. Those who are treacherous won’t like you even asking questions. Still you have to as it affects your marital life.

So, my suggestion is to know the biography of Muhammad who was a reflective practitioner of Islam. We all must know Islam through Muhammad as his life is Islam personified!!!Today’s Muslims especially living in non-Islamic countries are not following Islam in a comprehensive way. Everyone is interpreting Quran/Hadith according to their own sect of Islam such as Shia, Sunni, Ahmadi, Sufism etc. But everybody is ready to die for Muhammad. So, let’s focus on his life and learn in depth about what he did and said.

As the women/girls are more concerned about their future as the present society is a male dominant one, I would suggets them to see what Muhammad has to say about the girls/women and interfaith love, marriages, divorce etc. Also, the girls/women should try to find the answers to the following questions that may arise in their heart if they are going for interfaith relationship:

    1. What is the biggest SIN in Islam that is not forgiven? Is that SIN is the most heinous one, even worse than murder, rape and plunder?

    2. What are ways suggested by Muhammad to protect the women from the ogling eyes of the males? Some examples as I know is to cover the body in burqa, allow the males to suckle the girls (because after suckling a few timees, the woman will become unsuitable to be married to the person who suckled her!!)

    3. Is killing an innocent person is equal to killing all the humanity? Also clarify who is innocent. Are the idolators innocent? If yes, how can it be the gravest SIN, unpardonable by even Allah? If the idolators are not onnocents, how can their killing is considered equal to killing the whole of the humanity?

    4. How many prophets have been females?

    5. Who are/were khalifas? How many Khalifas have been women?
How many of the Khalifas had only one wife?

    6. Can women/girls lead a prayer? If not, why not? Islam gives equal rights to the men and women.

    7. Why the girls/women cannot go to the mosque where males go to pray if men and women are considered equal?

    8. If Muslims are allowed to kill others only for self defence, did Muhammad fought wars only in his self defence?

    9. Did Muhammad plundered women/girls in wars? Did he gifted war girls/women to his father-in-law? Will the Muslims of our time will get merits to go heaven if they also plunder the women and distribute them to other Muslims? Can women do the same things such as going to the war and plundering males to distribute them to other Muslim women?

    10. How many wives can the Muslim males are allowed to have simultaneously? Can the women have as many husbands as Islam gives equal rights to all irrespective of their gender?

    11. Is it allowed to dance/sing/theatres when India becomes a Muslim country? Are the Muslim countries such as Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan allow this? Are they not following Islam?

The above are just a few questions enlisted for the girls who may be curious to know about Islam. There can be many more.

Sorry satyen but this is the only bush you all have been beating since ages.
You are asking women to look into these question
have you ever gone to any islamic site urself to look for these answers???
MInd you I am talking abt Islamic site not an anti one like yours whrre copy pastes are the norm.
No and I dont think you even encourage them because the tone of your questions are sadly accusive and not interrogative
This proves your ingenuinety and biased nature

Dear sisters of all religions even those who love to hate me,

Happy rakhi festival to you. It’s the sacred relationship between a boy and a girl of any nationality or religion. All the girls in their youth are like my beloved sisters who I would like to protect them to the best of my strength, even against the odds. Just give me strength through your rakhi.

I rarely copy paste if ever. That’s one of the reasons why I give links to appropriate websites in order to save time and effort and space on the blogs. Though my overwhelming majority of comments are written by myself, I may refer the readers to some links if I think it appropriate. There are many writings full of wisdom are spread on the internet and no one should hesitate in going through them. So, important thing is not whether the information has been written by me but how reliable and relevant that information is in the context. Those giving quotation from Koran are not creating the Ayats, but are copying from somewhere and it’s alright.

I strongly recommend everybody to do their own research and don’t believe anyone anywhere. Apply your own intellect after hearing all and sundry. Also be careful about those who waste your time in disparaging any person because they have nothing else to say.

My sole aim is to point out what may go against you irrespective of what others may say. But you would be taking your final decision.

Mr Satyen would you please reply to the points I have raised here https://www.interfaithshaadi.org/?p=6201. Scroll down on your huge explaination on hinduism and you will see my comments. Please clarify them
Also why do you think the links that you provide may be the most accurate explanation to your point and why links provided to websites explainning Islam might always be wrong
The reason I ask this is because I have seen really nasty fights and posts on this website accusing links and sources to be fabricated if they explain Islam but 100% accurate if they abuse islam. WHY SUCH A BIAS THAT YOU CAN PROVIDE ANY LINKS WITH ANY INFO AND SAY ITS ACCURATE BUT INFO ON ISLAM ALWAYS BE WRONG???? COULD YOYU PLS EXPLAIN THIS ALONGWITH THE OTHER POINTS I HAVE RAISED IN THE ABOVE LINK

LETS SEE HOW YOU PEOPLE EXPLAIN THIS BIAS

        Dear sister Zara,

Usually I don’t indulge in personal arguments due to shortage of time but today is Rakhi day(signifying sacred relationship between brothers and sisters) and hence I will humbly response to your query.

First I am not against any religion including Islam. I have asserted at least twice that I consider myself a proud Muslim if Islam means surrender to Allah. I am just a puppet in the hands of Allah and I don’t have any power, all has been bestowed by him. As I am solely responsible to Allah, I also love his creation. That’s why I love all people including Muslims as well. However, I have greater responsibility towards the women who have been suppressed from the ages in the name of religion and they have been the worst casualties of the social structure. Though, almost all the religions some time or the other have suppressed them either due to superstition or male selfishness (not necessarily religious reasons). Continued…

          August 20, 2013 9:32 am

Many religious practices were changed for the betterment of the women status. However, the Islamic practices are continuing against them and even the so called prophet’s behavior has encouraged the practices against the women irrespective of their religions. I don’t assert anything against any religion, I only put forth the facts and the relevant issues which the readers can think about. It’s their choice, if they accept me or not. Decision making is individual’s choice, I help them in making an informed one. I am not propagating any religion to get any award from Allah. Just Allah’s service are my reward, I neither need the jannat nor am scared of any hell. I live every second of my life for my religion i.e. serving Allah/Ishwar by serving his creation.

I raise the issues related to interfaith marriages and am not worried to make all the religions equal artificially because they are not and speak very differently. For example, Islam prohibits idol worship while Hinduism doesn’t. Similarly, Muslims are supposed to eat only halal food while many of the Hindus are vegetarians. In India, Hindu men or women cannot have more than one spouse while the legal system allows the Muslim men to have up to four wives (though women are not allowed to have more than one husband). So, those willing to go for interfaith marriages must be told how the future marital life is going to be different from their present life. It will help them in deciding whether they should go forward or not. But the problem is very few people divulge the religious differences and misguide the interfaith marriage aspirants. In fact most of the time, Islamic practices are unknown to the Hindu girls and they are ignorant of the facts and their Muslim boy friends never disclose it to them. For example, the Muslim boy friend will never tell a Hindu girl friend that she will have to convert to Islam to marry him or their children will be Muslims or idol worship won’t be allowed etc. And guess what? Again the worst casualties are the women. Similarly, when I see a helpless baby of less than a year being circumcised with excruciating pain in the name of religion, I cannot stop speaking against these cruelties. I have tried to see a video of circumcision, but I could not see the painful procedure.

So, I have been bring forth these relevant issues and people with vested interest dislike it.

By the way, I don’t have any say in the management of this website. I am just another humble poster like you.

            Dear Satyen,
My opinion is and will be that you are on a misguided route to reality
Have you ever wondered with the abundace intellectual of your mind why practices in Hindu have been discontinued and practices in Islam still stand their course and are proudly followed by even the most educated in islam.
Not only that, do you know lakhs of people in west convert to Islam (now you cant tell me that the west is being forced into it lol) and majority of them are women. Infact 2/3 of UK converts to Islam are women (Care to research that). Now you may not believe my explaination of WHY this is happening then you are free to research the net for that. But by my personal experience the reason this happens is because these converts have found the logics, went in deep and found the need and relevance for these practices. If you carefully see the muslim population in western countries, the women are hardly without their hijabs. Infact in India itself I have so many muslim friends who hardly wear even an abaya. Do you really think thats because they are being opressed. Why?? They are converts n there are all kinds of human rights in place in these countries
A BURQA IS A PERSONAL CHOICE, DONT MAKE IT LOOK LIKE AN OPPRESSION. THERE IS A REASON WHY NUNS COVER THEIR HEADS, WHY VIRGIN MARY COVERED HERSELF AND WHY EVEN IN INDIA IN PARTS THERE IS A THING LIKE GHUNGHAT

please don’t blindly accuse any practice just because it seems illogical to your open mind and investigate.
Women are meant to be an idol and height of innocence and chastity thats why God ordered us to cover ourself. Now its upto everywomen to judge how precious she is that any man need to objectify her or not. I have seen men oogle even at girls who are dressed moderately. That doesnot make the girl bad, but faults her fault in that? Such men cannot be avoided becos it is their upbringing but we girls dont deserve that kind of teasing OK and men wont stop oogling either? Got it???

Also there are many such logics for why a certain thing exists in Islam. Pls do your own expert research then you will know.
I have done a reaserch on practices in hinduism also why certain things exist or existed but I have always come to a dead end and an no explaination. Not even a logical one
Sorry to say but that is the truth. I have no person feud against you but even I have an inquisitive mind and thats what I have found

Sorry but verses of the Quran are meant to be understood, there is no question of copy pasting, it is but a reference to show you how relevant those verses sound in any sitiuation.

    Fatimah,

Thank you very much for removing the misconceptions of the people who serve half baked or sugar coated information to serve their purpose. The aspirants intending interfaith relationship or those who are already in this type of relationship should understand the points raised by Fatima, not just their boy friend/girl friend’s words. In case of doubt, they should do their own research.

Mind it, it’s only you and your nears and dears who will have suffer the consequences at the end of the honeymoon period of love, not others. So, it’s your responsibility to do a comprehensive research on the relevant matters that may affect your future marital life, especially your children, parents and siblings or other members of your family/friends.
